Sacrifice/Red Skies

As the group looked at Tommy and Isabelle, Frost Assassin noticed Subject KR17 rushing off. "Hate to interrupt the reunion." He said. "But we've got a problem." He said pointing to Subject KR17. Ruby pushed her hand forward, creating a stone wall in front of him. Subject KR17 started flying off when Dalton hit him with a fireball, knocking him back down. As the group neared him, Subject KR17 looked at them. Nathan looked at him and walked over. "You said it yourself if we wanna save everyone we have to stop you." He said. Subject KR17 looked down but started laughing. "You did exactly what I wanted." He said as his eyes glowed purple. The mind stone glowed along with Nathan's eyes, his body seeming paralyzed by it. He then turned towards the team and raised up his hand, causing a sharp pain in the teams heads as his eyes turned purple. "Nathan." Clara said. "You have to fight it." She added. Nathan smirked as he walked to her. "I'm afraid Nathan's not available at the moment." Subject KR17 said through him. "I used the hybrid to gain an extra boost to getting the stones and the totems." He explained as he took the power stone from her. He then went on to take the rest of the stones and totems before looking at Dalton and Perseus. "You two have a more unpleasant turn for yours." He said as he used his abilities to remove the water and fire totems from them. Due to the stones power being put inside them after being damaged, the removal of the power also drained them of some strength. While everything was going on, Nathan watched in the Mind Realm that he was trapped in. Subject KR17 appeared beside him. "Sucks being trapped in your head doesn't it?" He asked. "Just watching as your world goes into motion without your own actions." He added. Nathan looked at him. "If you wanted to be stopped why are you keeping us from doing it?" He asked. "You had your chance in the lab." Subject KR17 replied. Nathan was confused but remembered the voice inside one of the cells. "Those scientists did this to you?" He asked. Subject KR17 looked at him. "For years I was forced into their experiments, hoping for a way out." He explained. "You and the others were my last chance, but you all left while the rest of us went through the antimatter that could've killed us for all you knew." He added. Subject KR17 went on to explain that the experience led him to willingly go through with the experiments to gain every known superhuman ability. "I turned into a weapon with my memories stripped from my previous life." He said. "If you would've set me free we wouldn't have to go through what's about to happen." He added before they returned to reality as Subject KR17 removed the mind stone from Nathan and forced him to the ground. He now had broken free, as well as grabbed all the stones and totems. A strange energy surrounded the objects as they merged into a single multicolored crystal that Subject KR17 placed on the chest of his armor. A massive glow came from the armor as he looked at the sky. Subject KR17 sent a massive energy last into the sky that spread through the universe. On one of the earth's, a teen boy was sneaking around the Time Bureau with a group of other guys. The others were trying to get information while he looked around. He saw a somewhat old style watch with a tech upgrade, deciding to grab it and put it on. Just then an alarm went off and the group bolted. As they did a massive energy hit the Time Bureau and the group. Everything around them was vanishing, and some of the group followed. A bit of the energy was absorbed by the watch the boy grabbed and stopped it from affecting him. A blue blast pulsed from the boy and everything froze. He got up and ran, too afraid to realize he was the reason for what happened. As he ran, the watch glowed and went static as a rift opened as the boy vanished and time unfroze, leaving the destruction of the world with nowhere and nothing in sight. On another earth a girl was training with knives when she noticed the energy. She ran off just as a man was in a different part of the same earth, both mysteriously vanished before the earth was destroyed without a trace. Back at the Battlerealm, it was believed they were the only ones alive. Everyone was able to get to their feet, but before they could do anything Isabelle vanished into thin air. "Isabelle!" Tommy shouted before looking at Subject KR17. "What did you do to her?!" He asked angrily. He rushed to fight and Subject KR17 flew off. Arcturion looked at Clara. "If this turns out how we think it will." He said to her. "You know what to do." He said before flying after him. The two of them fought with equal powers for a good while before Arcturion blasted the crystal. A piece of the crystal shot into him as a bright explosion caused Subject KR17 to vanish. Arcturion fell to the ground motionless. Dalton rushed over and tried to wake him up. "Alex come on." He said trying to wake his friend. The pink and blue streaks in his hair faded as he began to crystallize and eventually shattered. Arcturion woke up in his apartment once again and sat up. He walked around and paused after seeing a familiar face. "About time Arc." Clyde Clancy said. "Clyde." Arcturion said rushing over and kissing him. Meanwhile back in the Battlerealm, Clara pulls out the orange crystal from Alex and Arcturion and hands it to Dalton. "I'm not sure what's in it but he told me to give it to you." She said. Dalton touched the crystal and found himself in the hideout. He was looking for Alex when he saw him and Arcturion talking. "Are you sure you want to go through with that?" Arcturion asked. "There's no turning back." Alex replied. "If necessary we're gonna have to merge." He added. Dalton rushed over to him. "You don't even know if that's safe." He interrupted. "You could die." He added. After continuing the argument, Alex decided to use his power to take away Dalton's memory of the conversation, something he swore to himself he'd never do. Dalton came back to reality realizing it was a memory. "I knew." He said looking at her. "I knew what they were going to do." He then looked to see the crystal that Subject KR17 created where he landed. He picked the stone before the group headed to the hideout. As they neared it, a strange red energy appeared and followed them. The group arrived at the hideout and Ian came to Dalton. "There's a place we can keep the crystal." He said. "From what I've seen the hideout is the only thing that isn't different here. Dalton nodded and handed the crystal to Ian. As Ian walked through a different area of the hideout, something started feeling off. He looked around but never saw anything and continued to the area. He reached the area and started to put away the crystal when he heard a noise. "Guys?" He asked. Suddenly the red energy appeared in front of him and charged towards him. Meanwhile while everything was happening everyone was trying to figure out what to do now. Bella came over to Tommy. "How are you doing?" She asked. Tommy looked at her anxious. "Not gonna lie I'm scared out of my mind right now." He admitted. Bella was surprised. "You've been separated before haven't you?" She asked as Tommy paced around. "Yeah but we've always told each other where we'd be if something happened." He said. Bella had never seen Tommy like this before. Usually he tended to keep his emotions in check, never enough to seem like a machine thankfully. "Okay first things first you gotta breathe." She said. "We're gonna find your sister." She added as Ruby walked over as she looked for Ian. He should've been back already. "Hey have you guys seen...?" She was cut off by hearing Ian scream. Tommy looked out the window and got wide eyed. "Uh guys?" He said as the sky turned red and red lightning cracked through the sky. "We got another problem." He said. Just then a bright light appeared and covered the Battlerealm. It wasn't just the that was changing, but the heroes would be affected by what had come.
