Clara and Damian were continuing their own fight. Clara avoided his attacks and was able to get in some attacks of her own. "Nice moves." Damian told her. "You should know." Clara said preparing for what was next. "You taught me this stuff." She then used her powers on Damian, who seemed to absorb it, allowing a crystal to be revealed in his chest. Clara was about to use her powers on it when Phoebe rushed over. "Clara stop!" She called out. Clara paused and looked at her mother. "If you destroy the crystal you destroy his existence." Phoebe explained to her daughter as she informed her of what she had heard from Frost Assassin just before she came here. "So if he dies here," Clara said realizing the risk. "He won't make it back." She said as she watched her boyfriend fade into the crystal that floated into her hand. "As long as it doesn't break he'll survive." Phoebe told her. Meanwhile Frost Assassin and Bella were headed for the exit when a group of Adaptoids ambushed them. As Bella rushed in for the fight, Frost put the crystal he grabbed on the ground to keep it from breaking. The two fought the group of Adaptoids the best they. However when one nearly got Bella, the crystal glowed and manifested Tommy, who sent out a canary cry that shattered the Adaptoids. Bella thought of this as another trick by Rage, preparing herself as the negative speed force kicked in. She raced over and grabbed Tommy, phasing her arm and prepared to strike. "Bella!" Frost shouted as Bella put her hand through Tommy. A flash of light appeared in Bella's mind.

5 years ago...

The skies were turning red as everyone watched. "Everyone get out of here now!" Ruby ordered. Everyone got themselves away from the hideout as a wave of dark matter appeared and started attacking anything in sight. Tommy was wearing the Air Totem still as he and Bella were running. The crystals throughout the Battlerealm were starting to mess with their powers and Bella was having trouble with her speed. "What're we gonna do?" Bella asked. "If we don't get out of here neither of us will survive." Tommy shook his head. "We're getting out of this." He assured her. At this he couldn't tell who he was trying to convince more, Bella or even himself. He looked at the dark matter coming closer before turning to Bella and kissing her. "I'm sorry." He said to her as a tear rolled down his face. Bella was confused until she realized he wasn't wearing the totem anymore, now it was on her. "What're you doing?" She asked. "This is the only thing that'll save you." Tommy shook his head. "You were the one who saved me." He said to her. "Now it's my turn." He said as the password. The two of them looked at each other and Bella promised to find him if something happens to get them out of this. "I love you Bells." Tommy said as the wave passed through them. "I love you too." Bella said in tears as her boyfriend began to crystallize right in front of her.

Present Day...

Bella opened her eyes to find herself on the ground. "Luckily you missed the crystal." Frost told her. Bella looked as Frost held the green crystal in his hand again. "So that was really him?" She asked. Frost Assassin that it was what remained of him at least. "I guess whatever you saw was a memory of his." He added. Bella looked at the crystal. "He gave me the totem." She explained. "Sacrificed himself so I could survive." A few silent moments were shared before the two eventually left to go join the others. As everyone met outside the prison, they noticed Dalton coming over. "What are you doing here?" Phoebe asked sternly. Dalton had a small bag with him. He reached inside and took out fully merged reality stone, throwing it to Phoebe. "You're welcome." He said as he gave everyone else the rest of the totems and stones. "But when did-?" Phoebe began to ask but Dalton cut her off. "We've got another issue." He said butting in. "It's Alex...Rage is Alex." He told everyone as he explained what happened. Frost Assassin looked at the group. "He did call Arcturion a failed experiment." He said. Phoebe nodded as she thought about it. "We have to remember this isn't the Alex we knew." She added. "He's more dangerous and needs to be stopped." Rikki started shaking her head but as she did, a massive explosion came from another area in the Battlerealm. The group looked to see a massive amount of energy building up. "He must've absorbed some of the power from when we fought." Dalton said. "Meaning he has enough power to cause another reality change." Ruby said as they saw the energy growing. "Once that thing covers this realm completely, who knows what'll happen this time." She added. The group headed off and to where the energy was coming from. A massive amount of Adaptoids were being affected by the energy, causing them to crystallize and shatter like glass. "About time you showed up." Rage said as his armor began to crack. The helmet cracked, revealing his face to the group. Everyone looked at Alex as Rikki and Jungle Master both walked towards him. "I know you're in there Alex." Rikki said. "Why are you doing this?" She asked. Rage laughed at her. "Alex died years ago." He replied. "You witnessed it yourself the day I walked into your home." He added. Phoebe looked at Rikki. "What is he talking about?" She asked. Rikki looked at her and explained that a few years ago he had went to do something and that something was off when he came back. "He was different." She explained. "He tried to kill us." She added. "At least I thought that was what he did with him." She said looking at Jungle Master. "But you protected us." She said turning back towards Rage. Rage shook his head. "He was never protecting you, just him." He said to Rikki. "Giving him power allowed him to hide from me until now." He added. "He's the one piece of Alex that still holds on as a protector, but now I can end it." He said as he created a swarm of sharpened crystals and shot them towards Jungle Master. Dalton watched and he immediately reacted. "No!" He shouted as his eyes flashed blue and the same color of flames shot from his hand, destroying the crystals. "Well look who decided to join us." Rage said with a chuckle as everyone looked in surprise as Dalton's eyes were still glowing blue. "I had a little help from an old friend." Dalton said with another voice speaking at the same time. A suddenly energy removed itself from Dalton, transforming into Alex. "Stay the hell away from my brother." He said as he walked over. He stopped at Frost Assassin and whispered. "Call the others." He said to him. "You know what to do." He added. Frost Assassin nodded and began to mess with the the death totem. "You really think you can take me on alone?" Rage asked Alex. "Arcturion is with Clyde like he wanted to be." Alex explained. "But I didn't come alone." He added as every crystal from the base flew over and formed into crystallized forms of their identities. "Create a barrier." Alex said to the totem and stone wielders. "We'll handle the rest." He finished. Just then both forms of Alex turned into pure energy and slammed into each as the group created the barrier the best they could. The barrier held but was growing weak quickly. "We can't keep this up forever." Nathan said. "Even with all of us together we're getting weaker by the second." He added. Just then Frost Assassin's eyes became completely white and gave a bright glow. As this happened the crystals from Rage's base escaped and swarmed around the barrier. Frost took Tommy's crystal out of his pocket and sent it with the others. Clara did the same with Damian's crystal. A blast of energy emerged from the crystals allowing the barrier to strengthen. Suddenly Dalton's vision went blue and he ended up in a room with what looked to be an aesthetic of a video game around him. "There's not much time." Alex told him as he walked over. Dalton looked at him confused. "What's going on?" He asked. "Where are we?" Alex shook his head. "Somewhere rage can't reach us." He said creating a glowing crystal. This was different from the others. "This is all I can give you while I hold him back." He explained. "You'll gain my power temporarily long enough to survive the transfer as well as share it with the others." He added as he began walking away. Dalton shook his head. "What about the crystals?" He asked. "What will happen to them?" Alex stopped and hesitated for a second before looking at him. "Some of them won't survive the transfer." He warned. "But even those who do likely won't be the same as before." He added. "I'm sorry but not everyone stood a chance." Dalton shook his head. "Isn't there something you can do?" He asked. As this was happening, Dalton was still powering the barrier with the others. After a few minutes he returned to the fight and looked at the others, taking a breath before his next words. "Alex gave us his power." He said. "We need to use it all, protect who we can survive to the next world." He explained. Nathan looked at the crystals as it was hard to tell who's they were now. "But if we go through with this..." He stated in realization. Bella looked at them, thinking about Tommy. "They have to make it." She said. One by one everyone let Alex's power spread through them as the energy exploded. The barrier broke and the team started to crystallize. The energy faded and the crystals remained in the air. The crystals all had a faint glow and some were even shattered or cracked. As everyone looked around the crystals had started to vanish. Bella looked at her arm a she was almost completely crystallized and noticed a cracked crystal beside her. "Tommy." She said with a tear streaming down her face as the crystal vanished and her crystallization completed. "I'm sorry." A void of darkness erased the Battlerealm when a small fragment of light appeared.
