Infinity Totems

Rage

The Adaptoid stood with the Anansi Totem around its neck. "Any ideas on how we're going to fight this thing?" Grayson asked. Ian looked at the Adaptoid, it's red so it's a skill based Adaptoid. "Then how is it using magic?" Grayson asked. Ian explained that magic doesn't have a big affect on them. "Tommy you need to use your canary cry." He said. Tommy nodded. "Got it." He said before doing the canary cry. As he did, Ian threw one of his green crystal bullets, shattering and turning yellow as it hit the Adaptoid. "Uhh what just happened?" Grayson asked. "Long story short, if you have the X gene or in our case the Meta gene, you got a better chance with the red ones." Ian said. Alex looked at the Adaptoid as yellow vein markings spreading through it. "So we're basically poison for them?" She asked. The Adaptoid touched the totem which allowed it to transform into a tiger once again. It launched at the group as everyone tried to avoid the attack. Just as the tiger launched towards Ian a rift opened and a figure jumped out and attacked it. The tiger transformed back into an Adaptoid. The figure landed on the ground and Ian recognized him. "Jungle Master?" He asked. Grayson looked at him confused. "You know this guy?" He asked. Ian turned to look at him. "Yeah...well kinda." He said watching Jungle Master yank the totem off of the Adaptoid. Just then another figure came out and created a sharpened green crystal and threw it at the Adaptoid, causing it to shatter like glass. "Now her I know." Ian said. "I thought you lost your power Rikki." He said. Rikki looked at him and nodded. "I did, but I guess some needed me to have them back."  She added. Ian thanked them for their help and held out his hand for the Anansi Totem. Jungle Master looked at Rikki and then at Ian before placing the totem around his neck instead of giving it to Ian. "What was that about?" Ian asked. Jungle Master was silent. "Yeah you're probably not getting that back anytime soon." Rikki said to Ian. "Not the sharing type a lot of times." She added. Grayson nodded in agreement. "Besides his powers are already animal based so he'll have more control over it." He explained. "So the cop's a totem expert now?" Alex asked. As the two argued again, Ian looked at Rikki. "There's something you should know." He said. "It's about..." He started to explain but Rikki cut him off. "We know." She said uneasy. She explained that when Alex gave her the power from the crystal it created a connection between them. "What did you mean by we?" Ian asked. The two of them looked at Jungle Master. "He's my brother too." She said. "He got his power years ago from Alex and then was hidden." She explained. Before anyone could say anything, a sudden earthquake shook around them. At the same time, the earthquake was also affecting Nathan's cell, causing it to break down. He broke his way free just before a group of Adaptoids rushed over to capture him. A mental force from the Mind Stone shot towards the Adaptoids, causing them all to be destroyed at the same time. "We're more powerful here." Nathan said in realization before looking back at the crystals used to create the cells and everything around him. "This was the only way for me not to do anything to him." He said before going to find the others. Back with the group, a figure stepped out as the earthquake died down, it was Ruby, and she wasn't alone. Soon followed the other Totem wielders, Dalton, Perseus, Frost Assassin, and Ruby. Not long after came the wielders of the Infinity Stones, Michael, Clara, Phoebe, and Justin. "Uh guys?" Alex asked seeing everyone. "I think we've got a problem." She added. Ian looked at Ruby. "Where are the last totems and stones Ian?" Ruby asked him sternly. "Ruby you don't need to do this." Ian told her. Ruby smirked and looked at the group who came with her. "Hard way it is then." She said. "This'll be fun." She said as the group split up. Everyone got separated from each other and fought one of the members. Ruby and Ian fought each other. "Not so tough without your totem now are you?" Ruby said. "I don't wanna do this Ruby." Ian said to her. "Then you should've joined us." Ruby said. As this was going on Rikki was trying to talk some sense into Dalton. "You really think Alex would have wanted this?" She asked while avoiding his attacks. Dalton kept shooting fire at her in rage. "What does it matter when he's not even here?" He asked angrily. Meanwhile Michael and Evan were both using their time abilities to effect each other...well Evan was trying to at least. Perseus kept attacking Jungle Master, but it was like every move he made gave him the opportunity to reverse the effect. Perseus couldn't even hit him. Isabelle was able to at least effect Phoebe some with her scream before she could do anything but it wasn't gonna last much longer if she had to continue. Alex fought the best she could against Clara who had the upper hand with the Power Stone. Grayson was in the same predicament with Frost Assassin, wielding the death totem. As everyone continued to fight, Tommy saw that his opponent was Bella. "I won't fight you Bells." He said her. Bella shrugged with a smirk. "Works for me." She said. "You go down either way." She swung her arm at Tommy who caught it before it could cause impact. "This isn't you." He said to her while avoiding her attacks. "I'm a Thawne, Siren." Bella said as she began to phase. "This is exactly who I am." She said as she grabbed Tommy and paused for a second, hesitating. "You're not Eobard." Tommy said to her. "Don't let whatever happened to you change that." He added. A mysterious red glow appeared around Bella and she let go of Tommy while appearing in pain, soon all the others were feeling it. Just then Nathan rushed over and the red glow suddenly appeared on him too. "What's going on?" Evan asked in confusion. Grayson looked at everyone who was being affecting. "It's only after the ones who have the objects." He said. Rikki had an idea. She used her powers to create a glowing green explosive energy. "Isabelle, I need you to scream into this as much as you can." She ordered. Isabelle and did what she could and Tommy helped with his own. "Alright that's good." Rikki said for them to stop. She then turned towards the ones affected. Ian looked at her confused. "Wait what are you doing?" He asked in a disapproving tone. Rikki didn't answer and instead forced the energy forward towards the group. The energy exploded with the scream destroying the stones and totems. "No!" Ian yelled, but Grayson noticed something different about him this time. Everyone was freed from the red glow and had returned to normal. Bella looked at Tommy and rushed over to kiss him. "I couldn't stop it." She told him in tears. "I tried to fight but-" Tommy interrupted her with another kiss. Grayson then noticed Ian generating a small red crystal and placing it in his gun. "Get down!" Grayson shouted out, but it was too late. Ian pulled the trigger and it shot right into Tommy, who fell to the ground breathing heavily. "Tommy!" Isabelle shouted running to her brother. "No please come on!" She pleaded as everyone was trying to make sense of what just happened. Soon Tommy stopped breathing and Isabelle cried over him. Bella looked at Isabelle as she held Tommy's body. She then looked up to see Ian smirking. "What did you do?" She asked him. Ian said nothing and continued to smirk with a chuckle. Bella's eyes turned red as she began phase. "Ian!" She said angrily. She raced over and grabbed him, slamming him onto a nearby rock wall. "What did you do?!" She asked once again angrier. Grayson looked at the group. "It's not him." He said before explaining what he saw. "But Ian can't do that." Ruby said. "He doesn't have any...why didn't you have your totem?" She asked Ian in realization. A red energy appeared onto Ian and shot at Bella knocking her over. The energy then removed itself from Ian as it took the form of the person who held Nathan prisoner. Once the form was complete Ian collapsed to the ground as Ruby rushed to him. "You shouldn't have let him go alone." The figure said. "My name is Rage." He added. "And thanks to your foolishness, your stuck in my reality." He said snapping his fingers. A group of crystallized Adaptoids came and grabbed them. "And don't worry about Tommy." Tommy's voice spoke. Bella looked to see Tommy standing up with the wound healing on its own. "After all..." Tommy said as he transformed into an Adaptoid. "He never made it to this world." The Adaptoid said to her. Special crystal chains were placed on them for their powers and were taken away from the scene.
