CHANGE THIRTY – TWO : DÉJÀ VU.

Sabrina’s POV :

Just for once, I wanna be alone.

I want to be alone somewhere far from everyone.

Because I acted like its wasn’t a big deal,

When really it was breaking my heart.

Three weeks after the party.

“Breathe in and out. Relax Sabrina, relax.” I said as I try to calm myself habang naglalakad ako papasok ng university. Jhano texted me earlier na hindi niya daw ako masusundo, okay lang naman sakin kasi magkasama naman kami almost everyday for the last 3 weeks.

Its wonderful kahit medyo busy siya.

And also it’s a good thing na hindi niya ko sinundo kasi I was planning to surprise him. Napaganda pa talaga ako for this day, of course kailangan maganda naman ako pag sinagot ko siya.

Yes, I’m planning to say yes to him.

Ayako na ng exclusively dating lang kami, I wanna make it real and because I love him so much. That’s it. Actually I’m pretty nervous right now, kailangan ba may pakulo ako or what? Since wala naman kaming masyadong gagawin ngayon, I thought of this as the right time para maging official na kami.

I tried to hide my smile, hindi ko mapigilan kasi any minute now magiging boyfriend ko na talaga si Jhano. Ghad, I can’t believe it. Nakaka excite din pala.

I reached my phone and tried calling him pero hindi nya sinasagot. Napasimangot ako, “Why isn’t he answering?” I mumbled myself. Luckily, I knew where to find him kaya dumeretso na ko sa mini park ng university. May mga benches lang siyang pang park, flowers pati fountain. Its actually cute.

I was trying to compose myself as I make my way through the park. I just want to make it perfect, I want to make it memorable. I took a turn just in time to for me stop and stare for a minute.

Hindi naman ako nagkamali sa pinuntahan ko because I can see Jhano clearly..

Clear enough to see him hugging another girl. I was in the verge of jealousy when I thought that I have to be open minded, baka friends lang sila? Hindi ko makita ung itsura nung babae kasi nakatalikod siya sakin. She was hugging Jhano back.

I tried to believe that it was nothing but its not.
