"Where the hell were you?" Jeno asked as soon as he saw the figure of his brother entering the room. A sigh could be heard afterward as Donghyuck raised his eyebrows at Jeno who imitated the same gesture in return.

"I just went out for a walk."

"You know how dangerous it is for us to be walking down the road this late!" Jeno raised his voice making his brother flinch. Yes, it was true. Donghyuck knew that as well. But yet he opted to walk down late at night.

"I just went out for a walk. Chill. And woah the fqk is that?" Donghyuck's eyes laid on the drink that was in Jeno's hands making the older male scoff.

"It's coffee"

"Eww gross."

"How would you know the taste if you haven't drink it in the first place?" Jeno's counterpoint got Donghyuck to shut up for some time. Yes, it was true. He hadn't drunk coffee his whole life just because he didn't find any interest in humans and their food habits. Even though they were both in the human world the younger could be least bothered by it.

"Well, where did you get it from?"

"Jaemin bought it for me," Jeno said simply before sipping on his coffee. Donghyuck failed to hide a scoff remembering the pink-haired male along with that certain male who caught his attention.

"That bubblegum haired boy?"

"Mmhm"

"Wow Jeno we haven't even passed one day yet you're here scoring yourself a boyfriend. Great!"

"I-it's not l-like that. Besides don't tell me you don't have an eye for Jaemin's best friend. What was that kid's name? Renjun. Right Renjun"

Donghyuck choked.

"It's not what you think it is"

"Sure" rolling his eyes Jeno looked outside. Sighing Donghyuck took a seat beside his brother.

"Do you think I'll be able to find him?" Donghyuck asked looking towards the city through the window as Jeno breathed heavily. Did he think that his brother would be able to find his man? Honestly speaking, no. But then again he didn't want to let the other down. After all, they left everything back just to find him.

"Do you want me to be honest?"

"Yes"

"No"

Donghyuck nodded his head. He chuckled. Jeno was right. Even if he tried to deny it he knew the older was always right. He had always been right.

"So...do you really think this is gonna be a waste of time?"

"I won't say that tho. We never know if he still stays here or not Donghyuck. Let's wait some more. And it's not like we'll be welcomed heartily once we head back." Jeno said as a matter of fact as Donghyuck hummed. The other was right. Even if they go back to their place there isn't a guarantee that they'll be welcomed happily. They'll probably get punished or the worse, get killed.

"Why do you want to find him tho? I still don't understand that Hyuck. Sure I came along with you cause I know your stupid ass will get into trouble but still why do you love him? Love someone whom you have met once."

"Like I said Jeno...I don't know...I've never felt this emotion before you know that right? I badly want to find him. Just talk to him once. That's it. I know I'll never be able to lead a life with him cause..."

"Cause you're different. Hyuck that's not a-"

"It's one of the many reasons Jeno. You know how hard it is for me to control myself...I don't want to hurt him once I see him...I won't be able to..."

"Hyuck, look at me," Jeno said as the younger male complied.

"I trust you. You won't hurt him, okay? I know you... You won't kill him. Within a matter of time, we'll find him. I'll convince dad. Don't worry." Jeno said as Donghyuck nodded, a smile creeping on his lips. It's really funny how he's trying to console his brother when in fact he was against the idea a few minutes ago.

"Thank you, Jen. For being the best brother" he said hugging the older out of the blue making Jeno smile. He patted the younger's back before pulling away.

"You better pay me back for the things I'm doing for you"

"Oh-"

"By setting me up with someone."

The rest of the night was spent with Donghyuck teasing his brother. It hasn't even been a week yet Jeno had found someone for himself.

"Renjun, is that your name?" The woman asked as the little boy nodded his head. He looked around not knowing what to tell. Where was he?

"Is this your book?" She asked once again drawing out an old book from her bag, her wrinkled fingers running over the pages. The little boy nodded his head once again, his hand extending out.

"I got it from the riverside. What were you doing there at a time like this? Don't you know it's dangerous for you?"

"Dangerous?"

"Of course-"

"Renjun! Open the damn door." Renjun jolted from his bed, rubbing his eyes as he looked towards the door. He could've completed the dream that kept haunting him for months had he not been disturbed. Rubbing his eyes he walked towards the door only to see a wild Lucas pouncing on him. He would've lost control had it not been for the grip on his shoulder as the older male tried to hide behind him.

"The fqk is wrong with you ge?" Renjun asked annoyed. However his annoyance tuned to amusement as he saw another figure walking towards the room. He still wondered how the other was able to keep up with a big baby like his brother lucas.

"Renjun move aside. I want to talk to him" Mark said placing his hands on his hips as renjun rubbed his temple. For sure the older looked cute when he's angry but then again how did he get there? The last time he checked mark didn't even go to their neighbourhood to begin with.

"Renjun, don't betray me" Lucas pleaded as he hid behind his brother. Renjun looked at mark who was smirking slightly.

"Renjun I'll treat you to lunch if you move aside. How does it sound?" He asked as renjun smile. a free lunch is free after all and who was Renjun to deny it? Even it means to betray his brother he would go to that extend just to get it.

"Of course hyung"

Renjun was able to move away from the grasp of his brother who let out a gasp watching how his brother betrayed him. He looked back and forth between Renjun and Mark before settling in the bed with a pout on his lips. Mark couldn't help but coo at the sight as Lucas looked like a puppy. A cute one may I add.

"why are you so early tho?" Renjun couldn't help but ask as mark scoffed. Pointing towards the clock Mark's attention turned back to his boyfriend totally avoiding the gasp that ledt the younger's mouth. He didn't even have much time to get ready and these idiots didn't even wake him up. Had lucas not knocked on his door he might have as well missed school.

"why didn't you guys wake me up?"

"Didn't feel like doing so. and what's the point anyways? Go freshen up! We don't have much time" Mark said as Renjun rolled his eyes.

"I'm letting you go this once cause you promised me free lunch."
