Chapter Eighteen ~ J'en Ai Marre

We all help Bella slip into her beautiful larger than life wedding dress, stunning shoes and then fuss around her hair and makeup.

Bella doesn't want us to do much to her hair, but obviously because her hair is a complete curly mess naturally we can't let it stay like that, so we put it half up and half down, leaving it as natural as possible.

A light makeup look, just bringing out Bella's bright eyes and reddening her lips tops off the look, and with the shoes and extravagant earrings she is complete.

The only part of her look that Bella delights in (she hates all this dressing up - simply because she can't wear her usual black!) are her earrings.

The green and silver earrings surrounded in extremely expensive diamonds are a family heirloom, apparently going as far back as the thirteenth century, when our family integrated with the pure blood Gaunt family, a family which has just recently completely died out.

Morfin Gaunt passed away about thirty years ago, and his sister Merope went before that. Nobody knows what happened to her, only that when her father Marvolo returned from Azkaban she was gone.

Neither of them are believed to have had any children, and the end of he Gaunt line brought great distress to the pure blood Wizarding community.

My father told me and my sisters thy when the Gaunt family died out many pure blood families were worried that they would be next.

The Gaunts were the only descendants of Salazar Slytherin, and once they died it made everyone worry.

But then, something shocking happened...

The Chamber if Secrets was opened. How? It was the year after Morfin Gaunt was imprisoned and it can only be opened by a descendant of Slytherin. A parselmouth.

To this day many people wonder who it could have been that opened the Chamber. I guess we'll never find out.

Anyways, Bella digruntingly looks in the mirror and just groans, saying, "Let's get this over with.".

Not the attitude you should have on your wedding day.

With that Bella tells us to leave, and so me and Cissy, alongside our mother, head down to the back garden where the wedding is being held and begin to mingle.
