Chapter 13

💜Taehyung's POV💜

I stare at the wall mindlessly, not sure what to do. It has been like this ever since I came home. I'll try to sleep at night only to wake up later due to a nightmare. always the same one. Jeno taking me back there and killing me in any way possible then I wake up and it's not even been 3 hours and I'll be too scared to sleep so I just stare mindlessly at the wall for hours. it has been about 2 weeks since I've been home that means I've had 2 weeks of no sleep and its starting to take a heavy toll on me. I've kept the nightmares to myself this whole time as I didn't want to burden any of them with this. I mean I know that they have had a lot of pressure from reporters and the press because of this whole event to which I can not show my face until all my injuries have healed and I am back to full health. I know that this has taken a toll on them and I just wish I wasn't such a burden.

With a small sigh, I get out of bed and make my way to the conservatory to sit down on the sofa and look up at the moon. Oh my Moon Goddess, when will these nightmares stop? when will it finally be over? I think to myself as I keep my eyes on the moon. "Tae? what are you doing awake?" a voice spoke out. I jumped not expecting anyone awake at this time. My eyes move away from the moon and to the source of the voice. Yoongi  "Couldn't sleep you?" I reply moving my eyes back to the full moon. "same" Yoongi replied as he made his way to the kitchen. "coffee will not help you sleep Hyung" I call out quietly to Yoongi to which I hear him sigh before I hear him move around the kitchen opening a cupboard before shutting it than opening the fridge before I hear it shut and Yoongi walk out of the kitchen with 2 glasses of milk and make his way over to me handing me one of the glasses before sitting down beside me. 

"why can't you sleep Tae?" Yoongi asked as I took a sip of the milk. "I'm not too sure" I reply sighing. "you know it could be because of the full moon" Yoongi suggested to which I looked at him confused. "You know because you're a wolf and all" Yoongi explains with a shrug of his shoulders. "maybe..." I say with a small smile. "Tae?" Yoongi says his voice becoming serious causing me to look away from the moon and look at him. I hum in response. "this isn't the first night since you've come back that you haven't been able to sleep is it?" Yoongi asked to which I just shook my head looking down. "Tae..." Yoongi said softly to which he started stroking my wolf ear which I didn't even realise was on show. "I've...I've been having nightmares..." I trail off keeping my head low. "Tae why didn't you tell anyone?" Yoongi asked keeping his voice soft to which I could pick up the worry in his voice "I...I didn't want to be a burden..." I trail off. I feel Yoongi put down his glass also taking mine and placing it on the floor before grabbing my hands causing me to look into his eyes. "Tae...You are not a burden, you are everything but a burden. There are times where I wish I could go back and stop Jeno from taking you that day. there are also days where I wish I spoke up when I thought something was off with you - well that Jeno guy when he was acting like you and I feel guilty for not speaking up but please don't ever blame something that you had no clue was going to happen to you, something you had no control over on yourself because you are not a burden Tae" Yoongi reassured making me look way and lower my head as tears streamed down my face. Yoongi moved one hand from mine and placed it on my face turning it softly to make me look at him. "aw Tae... don't cry" Yoongi shushed before pulling me into a hug to which I sobbed into his shoulder as I felt Yoongi rub my back soothingly to which eventually calmed me down. "c'mon Tae lets go to bed now" Yoongi said with a small smile taking my hand and gently pulling me up from the sofa before we both headed towards the bedrooms. "um...Hyung can you um... stay with me tonight?" I ask softly looking down to which I notice that we are still holding hands. "of course Tae" Yoongi said before tugging me into my room. I smile to myself as I lay down next to Yoongi giving him his space before drifting off to sleep
