It was the next day at school and Lacie was walking to school, after what happened years he wanted to avoid all ties with billy.
When lacie arrived at school she sat her milk in the stream along with the other girls smiling, lacing her arm with janes the girls all bent down when all the sudden Lacie felt something lift her skirt
All the girls were laughing when it was Billy Andrews and his little goons as known as the Paul brothers, Anne on the other hand wasn't having it
"Keep your hands off!" Said Anne as she yelled at the three who just looked at each other laughing
"You must ignore them anne there just tormenting with our lives," Said Diana as she placed a comforting hand on Annes arm
"I do mind Diana," said Anne as she pushed Diana's hand off of her arm "a girls skirt is not an invitation,"
After Anne said that, billy and his goons left while the other girls laughed except for Lacie

When Lacie arrived inside she placed her coat and hat on the little hook, as she was doing that billy as walked over to her
"Listen I'm sorry about what happened last night," said billy as he grabbed a hold of Lacies hand
The two stared at each other before Lacie broke out of thought
"It's fine.. it meant no harm," said Lacie as she took her hand out of Billy's grasps before walking over to Jane.
"Wait what happened last night with billy?" Asked Jane as Jane said that Josie walked over
"Yea Lacie what happened?" Smirked Josie
"Why do you want to know?" Asked Lacie as she looked at the girl with confusion
"Well we all know that me and billy are going to be married someday so I just need to know what happened between you two,"
"Josie has it occurred to you that this is a private conversation?" Asked Lacie
"Oh I saw that i just wanted to make sure you knew before you go taking what's mine," said Josie as she slammed her hands on Jane and Lacies desk making them jump out of fright "toodles," smiled Josie as she walked away to sit in front of the them with ruby
