Jolene- Dolly Parton (Love herrrr)
Hazelle Bellamiie (bellamiie on IG)- our Fuji (let's pretend her hair is red)
Probably the only chapter with Fuji's POV....
"I got go-go juice for you, and everyone else gets to have a bagel!" the small girl skipped into the orphanage her melodic voice flowing through the small kitchen. "Thank you, Fuji," the eldest of the children, Kylo, said taking the steaming cup of coffee from her hands. "Of course," The girl giggled kissing his cheek.
"Little beauty's!" she called in a sing-song voice, energy radiating off her in waves. The girl, Fuji, was always such a happy and hyper being, never a second a negative emotion showed on her face. She was always smiling or laughing, she never wore a frown or a glare, only soft expressions were seen on her a all times.
Tiny feet pattered against the wooden floor of the hallway almost like they were following the sound of her soft voice. "Fifi!" a young girl latched onto her side making Fuji laugh and hug her back, children began to file into the bright room. The windows were open making sunlight stream into the crowed place, and the morning breeze giving them a relief of breathe. "Now, everyone sit down, I'll bring the cream cheese," she smiled brighter than the sunlight.
The girl watched in peace as the small kids chatter amongst themselves, they deserved a treat once in awhile, although she hasn't admit it to anyone, she was tired of the orphanages porridge they got every morning. She opened the metal door of the fridge and took the cream cheese she had bought last night. "Eat slowly, we don't your tummies to hurt now, do we?" she told the children taking a silicone knife and letting them take turns putting the creamy substance on their bagel. She had worked two months to collect the right amount of money to buy them breakfast and also pay some of the water bill.
"I'm going to get Tammy," she told the kids, who now had cream cheese on their cheeks making her giggle softly to herself walking to the new born's room. She slowly opened the door careful not to scare the small baby. They had one newborn in their orphanage, everyone else was over the age of 5.
"Good morning, munchkin," she told the tiny little miracle softly. "It's time for some baba's," she said quietly picking the baby up and pressing a light kiss on her head. The small baby smelled like flowers and baby powder. Fuji watched as Tammy squirmed and yawned her tiny mouth opening, a baby was like magic, they were so tiny and... so, so, so magical.
She cradled the new born in her arms rocking back and forth to the kitchen. "Shh, small voices, Tammy just woke up," she told the children making them close their mouths. It was early in the morning but Fuji had school so she had no choice but to wake them up really early. Kylo gently took the baby while Fuji mixed the power into the hot water. "Are you going to feed her?" she asked the boy. He nodded taking the bottle from her hands and angling it so the baby was comfortable.
They finished breakfast and Kylo agreed to take the kids to the babysitters house. It was a orphanage but the head mistress was hardly home, working to keep the house going. Well that was what she had said.
Fuji bid goodbye to all the children giving a hug and a kiss to each precious mini-humans. When the door closed she started to clean the kitchen up, washing the dishes and sweeping the floors listening to the chirping birds outside. She loved living here, taking care of the children. It was better than living in a basement waiting for... possibly anything.
She went to her room and turned the shower on, it was the first day of Junior year. The first day of public school. Before this she had to pay for her online schooling and watch the kids but the price was getting too high and it was a risk for them. So she went out that summer looking for a babysitter and at last she found a decent house, where the price was reasonable and they even had kids of their own.
