She had started the week dreading this moment, but now that it was here, Holland was actually happy. With her arm wound tightly around Mason's as she danced at his side, her short red dress flowing around her, she has a genuine smile on her face, as did Mason.

"Do we have any Bobcats in the house?" Mason and Holland cheered along, with most of the people in the gym, as the girl shot Flynn a thumbs up as she was djing the dance. "Everybody make some noise- okay, okay not too much noise. There's an anger management meeting down the hall."

"Alright, I give Flynn some props. She's not horrible," Holland rolled her eyes with a grin as Mason slung an arm around her shoulder, the pair moving off toward the side of the gym. "Now tell me, is Julie's band going to be as good as they were Monday a the pep rally?"

"I mean, I do help them write their songs,"

"Oh, then they'll be better than good," Mason placed a kiss on her head as his eyes trailed off toward the snack table, dropping his arm from Holland's shoulders. "I'm gonna go get us some drinks. Meet you back here?"

"I'm going to go wish Julie luck so yes, meet you back here,"

Holland made her way toward the backstage area of the stage the school had set up, an even brighter smile lighting up her face as she walked up to Flynn and Julie.

"Girl, you look so good!" Julie laughed as Holland pulled her into a side hug, looking to Flynn. "And you might've found your calling because you are killing it right now!"

"Want to talk about looking good?" Flynn kissed the tip of her fingers, doing a very bad impersonation of a French person as she looked at Holland. "Red is your color, I will never back down from that."

"Yeah, I know a certain guitar player that might swoon when he sees you," Julie commented, sending her friend a knowing wink as Holland elbowed her, her cheeks going red as Flynn started to fix her hair.

"Wait...are the guys here?" the two girls couldn't help but laugh at the way she was twirling the ends of her hair. "Not that I have many options. The blonde is gay, I don't want Holland's brother, and the guitarist only had eyes for one certain brunette...oh, and they're dead so-"

"They're not here yet, but they will be," Julie interjected as Holland nodded along.

"They know how important this is to Julie, they wouldn't miss it for the world,"

Holland could see Mason looking for her in the crowd as she bid the girls goodbye, promising to come back before showtime as she rejoined her boyfriend in the crowd. Carrie and Nick had arrived as well, one of Carrie's Dirty Candy girls, Kayla, not far behind with her own date.
