You saw your parents waving at you from the window of your compartment and flashed them a genuine smile, you were happy to finally return to Hogwarts. You've missed all your friends over the summer and tried to avoid writing to the ones not in Slytherin house, scared to disappoint your parents.

There was a knock on the door of the compartment, you smiled who it was and they slid the door open. "Blaise!" You exclaimed, running into his arms to embrace him in a hug "I missed you over the summer," you admitted to him. Blaise was one of the only people you wrote to during the holidays.
"Draco and Pansy are outside of the compartment," Blaise tells you dryly "she's like a leech, that one." you smiled lightly "That's Pansy-" you said admittingly right before the two walked in. You and Blaise hugged your two friends and exchanged a few words before sitting down on the seats next to Pansy, they two of you across from Blaise and Draco. Looking at him, you thought Pansy looked like a hungry dog, you snickered to yourself and pulled out a book. It was a muggle book, you really took interest in them either though you knew you'd be in trouble by your parents for it, you were currently reading A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. You tried focusing on your book but just couldn't, Draco's cologne was distracting. You had to admit to yourself, he did smell really good and his breath smelled like mint gum, much better than if he had morning breath. Why were you so fascinated with him now? You didn't like him or anything... "Luna," You grinned to your Ravenclaw friend as she walked into the compartment, "Hello, Y/N." she smiled to you softly "Quibbler?" she offered to your friends as they all denied. "I'll take one, Luna." You grinned to her and lightly took one of the magazines from her hands. "Would you like to sit with us?" You offered, but she insisted to go since you were almost to your destination, Hogwarts. You felt your heart sink when Luna left but never thought much of it.
