Christmas came too fast, you hugged your friend goodbye for the Christmas break while the fire crackled in the background. "I'm going to miss you, make sure to send me owls." You grinned, "Promise." Blaise said.
You thought you were going to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas, since you never have before.

Once your friend was gone, you sat in the Slytherin common room by yourself, reading a muggle book called Little Women, muggle books fascinated you. "Y/N," You heard someone mumble, Fuck you thought to yourself, it's the one person you've done so well at avoiding. Maybe if I pretend like I never heard- "We need to talk." Said the platinum blond like it was no big deal. He sat next to you on the couch, you inched further from him "What do you want?" you snapped, emphasizing the word you. His expression softened "Cedric told me he kissed you first," he started, you rolled your eyes and hit his arm "No kidding?" you said sarcastically, avoiding eye contact, your eyes welling with tears. "Why didn't you believe me when I told you?" You asked, choking back tears. "I- don't know," He admitted "I wanted a reason to be mad at you," he smirked, What the fuck? And there it was, you felt the tears streaming down your face, you quickly wiped them before he saw but it was unfortunately too late, he pulled you into his embrace and hushed you. "Who do you think you are?" You said in disbelief "I-" he started but you quickly cut him off "You broke up with me and the day after in the great hall Pansy was all over you, she was my bestfriend! Could you not have waited a week? You wouldn't be able to even be close to feeling how bad I did after you broke up with me!" You yelled, "I'm sorry." he sighed "I am so done with you, Malfoy!" you spat, he looked sad and you instantly felt bad. "Can I explain?" You thought about it for a second, Why am I even considering this? Say no, say no, say no "Fine, but make it quick." You sighed, Bloody hell, nice one, Y/N. "I knew you liked Diggory before you and me became official, I thought you still had feelings for him." He stated flatly "And I told you I didn't, so why didn't you believe me?" you said, truly outraged. "Diggory's good for you, I'm not." Your expression softened "Why do you think that?" you questioned, he just shrugged, you knew he just didn't want to talk about it. "I came back up to apologize, but then I saw Cedric kiss you." You ran your hands through your hair, Draco grabbed you and this time you let him hold you. "Are we okay again?" You asked him as he wiped the tears off your face. "Of course, L/N." He smirked and began to play with your hair, being apart as long as the two of you did it felt nice being with him again. "Y/N?" He asked softly, you didn't reply "Are we together again?" he questioned. "As long as this time we don't have to keep it a secret." He nodded, agreeing. "Why are you at Hogwarts when it's Christmas holidays?" You questioned him, trying to change the subject, he didn't reply and just smirked. You stood up and he grabbed your wrist firmly, his hands were cold and the cold metal of his rings stung your skin, you winced "Seeing a friend," He doesn't look to happy- "Who?" He questioned "Luna." you stated flatly. "Looney? Looney Lovegood?" He asked hysterically, you yanked your hand from his grasp "Her name's Luna." you said sternly and left without another word.

"Y/N," You heard Lunas soft voice say in a greeting, "Hi, Luna." you smiled to her. "Why're you still here over the break?" Luna asked curiously "Wanted to know what it was like," you said plainly "I'd ask you the same." she thought for a second. "It's father, you see, he says it's something to do with Quibbler." You didn't really know what she meant, but you nodded, pretending like you knew. "Luna, would you go to Hogsmeade with me today?" Luna beamed, "Of course, meet me at the Three Broomsticks at 1?" she offered and you nodded swiftly before hurrying back to your common room.
"Back so quick?" Draco said as soon as you entered, he was reading and didn't bother to even look up at you. "Luna and I-" You paused, "Is that my book?" you questioned, trying not to laugh. He didn't reply "Draco Malfoy? Reading a muggle book?" you said sarcastically, he shut the book closed. "Luna and you what?" He asked, So stubborn. "Hogsmeade." You said shortly "I mean, we're going to Hogsmeade together." you said, correcting yourself.

You got dressed in blue baggy Levi jeans, a white sleeved shirt and layered it with a big blue thrifted Nike t-shirt. You slid on your black Doc Marten shoes and a black beanie and grabbed your brown puffer jacket, running down back into the common room. "See you in a bit," You said to Draco, swiftly kissing him on the cheek but then he grabs your wrist. "Draco I've really got to go, now." You said trying to emphasize the urgency in your voice "Luna can wait a little, can't she?" He asked with a smirk, standing up and grabbing onto your hips he brought himself close to you and raised his eyebrows a little, asking permission to kiss you and you just nodded a little. He proceeded to brush his lips against yours, bringing his mouth over to your ear he whispers "Good little girl.." sending chills down your body. He began to kiss you, you entangling your hands in his hair and then pulling out of the kiss. "Draco," You spoke softly "I've really got to go." he huffed and kissed you one last time. As soon as you were grabbing for the door you heard him say "I missed that." and you beamed "Me too."
