Finally, you were back and it felt great. With a smile on your face, you walked into the great hall and looked down the Slytherin table for your friends, finding them, you went over and sat beside Draco, who didn't even bother to glance to you. Why did it bother you that he didn't pay you any attention? Before you could finish your thought you felt a warm hand on your shoulder and quickly turned around and embraced them in a hug "Cedric!" you beamed "I've missed you," the Hufflepuff smiled at you "You too, Y/N." you felt Draco's eyes on you, "Isn't that nice, Cedric? Why don't you head back to your own table?" he smirked and you elbowed him, what was his problem? You mouthed the words 'I'm sorry' to Cedric who nodded to you and forced a smile before walking away.
You turned to Draco "What was that for you foul little-" you were cut off by Dumbledore, who was starting his speech. "Welcome!" he said and you couldn't help but smile "Welcome to another year at Hogwarts! I have a few things to say to you all, and as one of them is very serious, I think it best to get it out of the way before you become befuddled by our excellent feast.." he went on for awhile, you weren't really paying that much attention until you heard him introduce Lupin, you think his name was, as the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher and Hagrid, as the Care of Magical Creatures teacher.
Food appeared infront of you, and you took what you wanted and ate the feast, before heading to your common room.

You were about to head to your shared dormitory with Pansy until you felt someone grab your wrist, "Blaise-" you started before turning around, it was none other than Draco Malfoy "you're not Blaise." you raised an eyebrow, his rings were freezing against your warm skin "You think?" Draco spat "I want to talk to you," he told you before dragging you to the library.

"Why are we at the library? We're supposed to be in our common room right now, Dumbledore said." you stated dryly, "What was Cedric's deal?" he growled, what the hell was going on? "What's your problem?" you whisper yelled at him, trying to not get caught for being out after hours "He's a Hufflepuff," Draco stated "Okay?" you questioned, he (already) was really starting to get on your last nerve "Why the hell did you bring me to the library to talk about 'this'?" you questioned, "I don't want you around him," he said simply, you could feel the anger boil in your chest. "Cedric, infact is my friend and you have no reason to meddle in stuff that isn't your business, you selfish git!" There it was, you snapped. You stalked off angrily returning to the common room in the dungeons, "What was that about?" Blaise spoke "I'll fill you in tomorrow," you spoke softly, you didn't want to take your feelings out on your bestfriend because of someone else. "Night, Blaise." You said, before leaving to your dormitory. "Where the hell were you?" Pansy ambushed you, "Draco, he-" "What?" she questioned, oh no. "Let me explain," You pleaded, she didn't say anything and just nodded. "while I was coming up to our room Draco dragged me to the bloody library and tried to dictate my friendship with Cedric." You explained, you were truly worn out "Goodnight, Y/N." she said dryly, "Night.".
