Hiccup walked silently through the forest, looking at his notebook. He drags his pencil over the X, sighing softly before looking out at the small clearing in front of him, finding nothing. He sighs again, marking another X before aggressively scribbling the entire map he drew.

[Hiccup]: The gods hate me..-Hiccup sighed as he walked, kicking a stone in the way- Some people lose their knife or a cup. No, I don't..-He started to speak- I managed to lose a whole dragon!..-Hiccup hits a branch, but returns hitting the face while Hiccup screams in pain-

[Y/n]: That must have hurt a lot..-(Y/n)'s voice came from behind him, making Hiccup jump a little scared. He turned to look at her, and she saw how Hiccup's eye was a little closed- Oh..

[Hiccup]: (Y/n)?, What are you doing here?..-He asks something surprised to see her. (Y/n) climbed down from the rock where she was standing previously and walks towards him with a smile- I thought you were at home..

[Y/n]: Hiccup! Why did you do that?..-She ask, looking at him with a raised eyebrow-

[Hiccup]: Shh..-He says, as he quickly grabs his dagger, making her look over the earth-

(Y/n)'s eyes widened, she blinked rapidly when she saw it. The Night Fury's body was on the ground, bound by the balls that Hiccup had thrown. Hiccup gulps while looking at the dragon with wide eyes.

[Hiccup]: Stay here..-He said as he slowly walked towards the dragon, he hid behind a rock. Hiccup sighs as he sees (Y/n) approach him slowly, standing next to him. Hiccup moves slowly around the rock-

[Hiccup]: Oh, wow..I did it..-He exhales suddenly, relaxing. (Y/n) walks to the Night Fury slowly, she shook her head in amazement- Ohh, I did it. This...This fixes everything! Yes! I have brought down this mighty beast!..-He puts his foot on top of the Night Fury, making the dragon roar, Hiccup and (Y/n) gasp as they take a few steps back-

Hiccup holds his knife tightly as he walks back towards the Night Fury while panting heavily. (Y/n)'s gaze didn't leave the dragon, she gasped when she saw his bright green eyes looking at them. Hiccup growled in a low voice.

[Hiccup]: I'm going to kill you, dragon. Then I'll cut out your heart and take it to my father..-The Night Fury snorts softly- We are Vikings. I am a Viking!..-Hiccup yells at him, the Night Fury moans in response-

He takes a deep breath, raising the dagger as the dragon roars, panting heavily before looking at the two with pleading eyes. At that moment a roar was heard from afar, causing the Night Fury to look towards the direction of the roar.

His eyes reflected fear, while panting softly. Hiccup's eyes widened and his body slumped before shaking his head, raising his knife once more. A roar was heard again, causing the Night Fury to gasp softly looking at the direction of the roar. He closed his eyes while dropping his head to the ground.

But it was the first time that (Y/n) felt a lump in her throat when she saw a dragon before before dying.

Suddenly he stops, sighing as he puts the knife to his head. (Y/N) looks at Hiccup with a smile, as he looked at the rope that the Night Fury had all over his body.

[Hiccup]: I did this..-Hiccup exhales, shaking his head. He looked back, before looking at Night Fury. (Y/n) approached him while grabbing his knife from his hand before walking towards the dragon- (Y/n)..-Hiccup mutters-

[Y/n]: Let's help him..-The dragon opens his eyes quickly when he feels the ropes loosen- Help me, Hiccup..-She tells him, cutting the ropes with the knife-

Hiccup approached silently, biting his lip as he looked around before helping cut Night Fury's strings. When they finished cutting the last rope, they both gasped as Night Fury pounced at the two of them.

The Night Fury pushes (Y/n) backwards, causing her back to crash against Hiccup's chest. She felt Hiccup's arms around her waist, squeezing tightly. They both gasped as the Night Fury stared at them, its wild and dangerous green eyes.

The roar was heard again from a distance, the Night Fury looked back before looking back at them. Its wings spread out before roaring loudly towards the two. They both winced at the noise. The dragon left quickly, crashing into a cliff while roaring loudly.

Hiccup gasps slightly, while still holding (Y/n)'s waist.

[Y/n]: H-hiccup..-Hiccup hugged her from behind, listening to the dragon roar from a distance-

[Hiccup]:.....-He got up slowly, before helping (Y/n) too- We-we have to get out of here..-They both looked back one last time, before taking a step back-...

[Y/n]: Eh, that was weird..-She said but was cut off when Hiccup fell to the ground- Hiccup!..Hey, wake up..-She gave him soft blows on his face- It can't be..

She grabbed Hiccup's body and placed him on her back and walked slowly through the forest back to Berk.

[Y/n]: You're lucky that you don't weigh so much, Hiccup..-She murmured, looking at him-
