Chapter 6: Meet the Queens

August 14th 1955

Packard and Sammy sat on the couch but Packard was resting his head on Sammy's lap as she watched what was going on in the news. Soon Sammy woke Packard up to notify him

SH: Hey Packard

PC: wakes up What? I'm trying to take a nap...

SH: You wanna head down to the Motown side of Las Vegas at the old foundry? I'll let you meet a couple friends of mine

PC: Yeah sure...

SH: Hey T. Mind if we use your machine?

TM: For?

SH: We're headed to the old foundry

T-Bones tossed his keys at Sammy and she caught them mid air, he dragged Packard along with him as he went along. T-Bones looked to Packard and told him something important

TM: Hey kid, Don't piss off Lulu. She isn't one to get angry

PC: I'll make sure of it

Sammy soon lead Packard and they drove off down the road, Sammy and Packard cruised around the town heading to the old foundry, Soon Sammy saw Bettie and Patty cruising around the town so Sammy honked the horn as Gee by The Crows plays in a form of serenading the 2 girls Packard attacked. They drove in front of them and sang Gee as they got even more pissed off at them, Packard had a smile and even flipped them off the entire time. When the song ended Sammy floored the gas and soon enough they were in the motown district of Las Vegas, They stopped at the gates of the old foundry awaiting for it to open

SH: OPEN UP!!!

A girl answered up

???: Who's there?

SH: IT'S SAMMY!!! WE WANT IN!!!

The doors opened and they went inside, As they went inside they saw teen hoodlum girls in white t-shirts and blue jeans wearing leather and jean jackets with converse, high heels or biker's boots. Their jackets had a logo patch on the back that said "The Rat Queens" on the back, They all stopped what they were doing and looked at Packard and Sammy walking to a part of the old foundry where the girls hung out. As they entered, Pretty Thing by Bo Diddley was playing and the girls were chatting. Packard and Sammy went to a specific table and 3 girls sat. One had dark brown hair in a ponytail with a red bandana holding the hair together and a Rosie the Riveter tattoo on her left forearm as she wore a plaid shirt and black jeans with high heels. Another girl had jet black hair and sunglasses with red lipstick as she wore a white T-Shirt, Blue capri jeans and a faux leather jacket with high heels. The last girl had blonde hair in a Rosie The Riveter style with a blue bandana with red lipstick as she wore a plaid shirt, a denim jacket and light blue capri jeans with high heels. Packard soon remembered them already

PC: Hey! I know them! looks to the girl with sunglasses Luanne "Lulu" Peterson, looks to the girl with a tattoo Juliette "Julie" Baker looks to the blonde girl and Sandra Diane!

SH: That's right, all in alphabetical order

Sammy and Packard walked to the table as they chatted and as they did so, Luanne looked to the 2 and gave off a slight smirk

LP: Well well well, Our newest Queen comes back with a boy

PC: Hey girls, I-

Before Packard could say anything, he was interrupted by Luanne as she gave off a mean mug look to him

LP: Tough having to leave your parents huh Mama's boy?

PC: Well... uh-

SD: Shouldn't you be in school by now?

PC: Uh-

LP: I think he's here to steal our secrets!

After Luanne said so, Julie got up from her chair and inched closer towards Packard with a face of a straight fighter

JB: You lookin' for ya lost mojo kiddo?

The girls behind Packard and Sammy giggled thinking Packard was about to be challenged by Julie, But Sammy saw the playfulness in Julie's eyes so she smiled and gave it a moment. Afterwards Julie stopped looking like she was ready to beat Packard down and she laughed playfully

JB: Haha! You know we're kidding Packy dack! Come here and give Julie a hug!

Julie hugged Packard with all her might and let him have a seat with the girls. Sammy sat down beside Packard and the girls went back to talking.

JB: Oh Packard, We're sorry if we scared you hun.. Were you scared?

PC: Nah

JB: Oohoo! Tough man! I like em like that, Right Lulu?

LP: Yeah... Hey Packard

PC: Yeah?

LP: No hard feelings about the whole mom and pop thing right?

PC: Nah, I'm not that mad

LP: Thanks....

SH: Now Packard.. She lost her old man and her old woman..

PC: She did? How?

LP: I don't wanna talk about it..

PC: It's alright Luanne..

LP: Thanks Packard...

Minutes passed by as they chatted like no tomorrow, It seemed like hours for Packard but they kept on chatting anyways

LP: You know Packy, Julie had some serious eyes for Sammy's man back in the day

PC: Hoo hoo, Really Julie?

JB: Oh, even if I did it wouldn't have mattered! Besides, Poor old Tony got a stinker for a non gassy girl

PC: I'm guessing Sammy before she knew you guys was energetic and shit?

SD: You should've seen her when we saw her back in 1946, Oversized leather jacket. She didn't call herself Samantha or Helena, she already called herself

SD, JB, LP: SAMMY HILLS!

Luanne whooped and Julie chuckled as Sandra just smirked at the 2 gossipers like it was an interrogation but Sandra butted in their giggling
