September 14th 1955

After the big fight with Bettie, Packard had to lay low for a while. A week passed by and Luanne was wondering what to do, That was until Packard's mother and father went up to them. Luanne knew what was about to happen so she braced herself for the worst.

JC: Alright you two.... You have been affiliated with delinquency for too long, You two are grounded

LP: What?

JC: You heard me Luanne... Both of you and Packard are going to stay in this house from now on... until further notice... And that means your delinquent friends are banned from coming here

PC: Luanne's a great kid, Julie and the girls were like parents to her so can you lift this?

JC: No, I want you both here

Luanne started tearing up as her face began to squish to a sad expression, Packard looked at Luanne and looked to his dad. But his dad didn't break character at all, Soon Luanne spoke up.

LP: I understand.... Is it ok if I bring one of my records and my record player in the bathroom please?

JC: Go ahead

Luanne went upstairs to Packard's room to get her record player, soon she slammed the door in the bathroom and locked it, Packard and his family went upstairs and went to the bathroom where Luanne was. All they heard was "Johnny Ace's Last Letter" by Johnny Ace with muffled crying as she was counting what sounded like mournful crying and counting of numbers. What did go on inside was Luanne was cutting herself with a sharp razor blade as she wept.

LP: 188..... 189.....

She soon put the razor blade up to her neck as Packard and his family were trying to get the door open, blood was on the toilet seat and on the counter where bloodstains appeared on the record player as well.

LP: 190.... Soon I'll be with you poppa....

As they burst the door open, Luanne sliced her neck and fell to the floor. Packard and his family aided her back to health as she started crying repeating the words "I'm sorry Papa..." over and over like a mournful chant, Soon Luanne was brought to Packard's room where she still kept on crying.

JC: LUANNE!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?!

LP: I'M SORRY POPPA, I'M SORRY I WASN'T THERE FOR YOU!!!

John soon realized why she did so and tried calming her down by patting her as Packard called up Julie to try and get them there, as John and Mary were patching Luanne up, Julie answered the phone

JB: Yeah?

PC: Hey Julie, It's me

JB: Packard?! I thought you were staying low until we're clear

PC: I know but, Luanne cut herself and now my parents are trying to calm her down while patching her up

JB: Wha- ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! SHE'S A SENSITIVE SOUL!!! WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED!?!

PC: Look, Julie Julie listen.. My dad grounded us both and now Luanne thinks she's going to stay like this for the rest of her life

JB: W-WHAT?!? GODDAMNIT!!! Get your damn father on the phone!!!

Packard called his dad over and he answered while Packard was trying to calm Luanne down playing something calm

JC: Hello?

JB: Hi, This is Juliette Baker.. May I ask.. WHY DID YOU GROUND HER!?

JC: JULIETTE!?!

JB: You should know the risks Mr C! She's really sensitive after both of her parents died! Lucky for you, I'm going to come over to try and calm Luanne down

JC: No! You're banned from ever going here! Stay away from my son and my step-daughter!

JB: Then enjoy her crying her ass off!

JC: Hey, You're a bad influence to both my son and my step-daughter so you don't say that to me!

JB: Bad influence!? I HAD TO TAKE CARE OF HER WHEN BOTH OF HER PARENTS WERE KILLED!!! I WAS HER GUARDIAN FOR AT LEAST 4 YEARS!!!

JC: Alright Alright, just don't yell at me please?

JB: Ok, I'm sorry.. Just let me come over

JC: Alright... I'm sorry Juliette

JB: Just call me Julie, Don't worry I'll be right there

JC: Thanks, bye..

John hung up and went up to Luanne who stopped crying and still had a sad face on her. He knew that he shouldn't go hard on her too much, so he stroked her hair and waited for Julie to come over

PC: Please don't tell me you argued with Julie

JC: I'm sorry Packard

PC: You should know that she's almost like her caretaker ever since. Luanne even told me that story so you're the reason you adopted her
