When Namjoon had climbed into bed and looked over at Y/N, he found himself just really craving to touch her. It wasn't necessary sexual, more like in their day-to-day life she was an emotional comfort. She was warmth. And he wanted to be surrounded by it. Be close to it. Feel it as he drifted off to sleep.
So Y/N, who had dozed off, was jerked awake by arms wrapping around her body and hot breath against the back of her neck.
"Wha..." She said sleepily, and Namjoon's hand gently rubbed her stomach area.
"Shhh, just me." He said, kissing her neck.
"Mmmmm, hi." She said, eyes drifting closed again. He laughed softly into her skin.
"I wanna feel you." He whispered, his knee slotting between hers.
"Mmmm, you are." Her tone was dry, but she gasped softly when Namjoon's kisses on her neck became more passionate. "What's gotten into you." She was clearing the sleep fog from her mind and attempted to roll back, but he held her tightly and just pressed their bodies closer together.
"I wanna be close to you. You're....safe." He mumbled into her neck.
"You're feeling okay?" She asked, suddenly worried. Had something happened she didn't know about? But he nodded.
"I think you just feel nice." He assured her and she relaxed again, tilting her head to give Namjoon better access to her neck. To both his surprise and hers, he growled softly and Y/N whimpered, suddenly remembering very clearly everything Jimin had her research about their kind. They may be in the 21st century, but they'd never really stopped being horny bastards.
Namjoon sucked in a sharp breath.
"Don't do that."
"Well, you're gonna need to stop treating me like a lollipop then." His response was to nip at her neck and she jerked, renewing her efforts to roll back and still failing.
"Stop wiggling."
"Why." She said, not stopping at all. Until Namjoon pushed his hips firmly into her butt. Then she stopped.
"That's why."
"Oh." She felt him smirk against her neck. She playfully smacked his arm and then closed her eyes. "I'm tired, let me sleep." He kissed her neck again, but finally stopped. And it didn't take Y/N long to drift off into dreamland.

Namjoon's eyes snapped open, adrenaline shooting through his veins. It took him a second to orient, to realize the shaking he was feeling was Y/N, and that crying noise was her in her sleep. His heart sank when he realized he was seeing the beginning of a panic attack.
"Hey, hey." He said quietly, trying to shake her awake.
Y/N gasped and abruptly sat up, tears running down her face, letting go of the pillow she'd been clutching. But before she could do anything else, Namjoon had scooped her off the bed, quickly flicked the light switch on, and placed her shakily in front of the mirror, pulling her shirt up enough so she could see what she was looking for.
He could smell her fear but compared to last time, this attack was nothing. He just supported her while she covered her face with her hands and cried in relief.
"It's okay. It's okay." He just kept repeating those words until her sobs had died to sniffles and she took deep breathes, furiously wiping at her eyes. "Can I get you anything?"
"Can I....is it okay to have tea?" It was so emotionally-spending to wake up thinking you were in one place, and then having to reassure yourself you weren't. She was grateful Namjoon wasn't pushy or suffocating, he just seemed to know exactly what she needed. Perhaps it was what he himself needed.
When Namjoon came back with two steaming mugs of tea, Y/N had curled up against the headboard of her bed, absent-mindedly rubbing her side.
"Thank you."
"No problem." He blew on his, his mind trying to figure out what else he should say. He didn't know what would comfort her, he wasn't sure he himself could be comforted in the same situation. Y/N saved him the bother by starting to sniffle again, wiping at her eyes. "Hey...."
"I'm okay." She cut him off, sitting up straighter against the headboard. She looked down at her mug. "I just.....I have to tell you things. But it's really hard. And it's upsetting. And I doubt if it even should be upsetting." Namjoon didn't reply. What was he gonna say. No, it's alright? Don't tell me? He probably should've been pushing for more about her past, but he hadn't had it himself to do so.
Y/N took a few deep breaths to try and calm herself down, but more tears spilled and she laughed, feeling utterly pathetic. She guessed she'd just have to say what she was about to while crying. Big surprise.
