Katara leaned up quickly and sprinted to her desk and spent every hour OF that day preparing for his lover's birthday and planned it all out which to that Sokka was surpised, usually he was the plan guy, she even went as far as putting all the stuff they were doing on her phone so in case she forgot
The next day arose and Katara got up extra early and got ready and today on Aang's birthday wanted to spice things up and wear pink to embrace love

Then after, Katara stuffed some winter cloths for the day in a bag with snacks and walked to Aang's house, she didn't like driving and it was not far, like 16 mins far and Katara listened to music, soft music, while the leaf's fell off the trees as she pasted, On the way, she picked up Aang's favourite breakfast and carefully carried it to his house, Then when she arrived at the door step Gyasto went out prepared for something
"hi!" Katara whispered
Gyasto whispered,
"i will be where you told me to be, now go wake my boy up" Gyasto gestures at the open door
Katara nodded and waved him goodbye and walked quietly to Aang's room and opened the door to see her lover sleepy peacefully and grabbed a chair near around her and sat next to Aang's bed and opened the plastic bag, taking out the container of the Aang's breakfast and kissed his forehead which woke him up
"K-katara?" Aang wiped his eye trying to focus them
"wake up sleepy head" Katara smiled
Aang leaned up and touched the side of her face
"how did you get in my house?" Aang asked
"oh, a girl has her ways, but i didn't break in" Katara reassured, in case Aang thought she broke in, Aang blushed
"anything wrong?" Katara said noticing Aang
"you look so fucken pretty" Aang mumbled
Katara laughed and fed him his breakfast like he was a baby
"thank you Katara" Aang said as she wiped his mouth
"now get ready, pack winter cloths and wear casual cloths for now you big baby" Katara smiled teasing Aang
Aang nodded and got ready

Then as Aang packed his stuff Katara grabbed his hand and and went to the car
"you want me you to drive?" Aang said gesturing he can do it himself
"nope, birthday boy ~" Katara winked as she went in the front seat
Aang covered his face covering his redness and went in
Then Katara drove to what seemed at a ice skating ring
"are we ice skating?" Aang turned to Katara getting out of the car
Katara held his hand
"can you not tell?" Katara teased pointing at the big building
Aang smiled and they checked in and went to change and meet each other in the seats, surrounding the ice ring and tied their shoes and when Katara was on ice the she could see Aang was struggling staring at the ice
"Aang what wrong?" Katara skated to him
"haha, i dunno how to skate" Aang said rubbing the back of his neck
Katara was confused at first and laughed
"you? don't now how to skate?" Katara laughed and teased
Aang nodded and Katara leaned in and whispered something in his ear
They connected hands and started skated together picking up pace and falling down together a little bit
"Aang want to try something else?" Katara kept skating
"what do you want to try?" Aang pressed his ear close to Katara mouth
She whispered in his ear
"! are you sure?" Aang questioned alarmed
Katara nodded and the two lovers started to dance and had a lot of fun and laughed together and when they were done they panted and went back to the seats, leaving a detailed heart in the ice. After they quickly changed Aang kissed Katara
"thank you Katara, that was so fun" Aang said hugging Katara
Katara blushed
"no problem Aang" Katara held his hand
The two drove to a nearby stand to get food, ice cream and shared one among themselves like any couple would do
"so Katara where are we going next?" Aang questioned licking the ice cream off his spoon
"can't tell you, until we are there ~" Katara winked
Aang looked at her and covered his face turning to the side to cover the blush
Katara giggled and after he fed her the last scoop, they went to what seemed like a maze
"Hey what does it say there" Aang saw writing in the entrance pointing towards it
"love is brightest in the dark" Katara smiled reading it
Aang looked at her
"so we just need love?" Aang said
"we'll make it" Katara looked back at him
They faced each other and leaned in and with a peck on the lips the tunnels lights up and shows him and the gang and all the kind messages hand written and in a big size by everyone he knew, Aang walked through the tunnel of memories and till they reached a dark room,
"SURPISE!" everyone Aang knew was there
"thank you so much guys for coming up with this idea!" Aang exclaimed
The people at the party were confused
"don't thank us Aang, this was Katara idea" Sokka put his hand on his shoulder
Aang turned around and kiss Katara unaware of the gang watching, they were surpised
"congrats twintle toes" Toph punched
"i fucken knew it" Sokka said crossing his arms
"congrats!" Suki hugged Katara
They all laughed and waited for the feast that Sokka mouth watered to when it arrived and after Aang opened his presents, he was very thankful for all the effect put in the present and hugged everyone, then as they were playing a game, Sokka's and Katara's dad come in requested for them
"uh what it is dad?" Sokka crossed his arms
"kids,i have to take my mind off things and i know you can handle yourself for a while, so i going away"
