1878

I've only been in here for a few years. I have one friend. Her name is Salem.

She has pretty green eyes and wavy red hair.

She'd been in here for 10 years before I got here, so I can't imagine what she's been through.

She likes animals, and she has a husband she'd like to see one day.

The doctor comes in, and grabs her harshly, pulling a stake out of his pocket.

I shoot up, angry. "What are you doing?"

"Well, we don't need her anymore, so we're going to kill her."

"No, please don't do that!"

The stake comes through her back and out her chest, staking her heart.

I sit down, crying.

I am alone.

"Oh, that must've been traumatic." Damon says.

"It was, she was my first ever true friend." I sigh.

Enzo comes back in, it was almost 10pm, all of us had endured more pain then anyone should in their lifetime.

"What were you guys talking about?" He asks, as the doctor harshly throws him in.

"My first friend, Salem." I fill him in.

"Well, what did you do after that?" Enzo asks.

"I sat in this cell without my emotions." I say nonchalantly. "I didn't feel a thing."

Damon chuckles at that.

"Damon Salvatore laughing, I haven't seen that since you arrived." I smile.

I think his chuckle is cute.

"Well, how'd you get them back on?" Damon asks.

"Enzo, he helped me get them back on." I tell him, truthfully.

He smiles. "Well do not let me turn my humanity off, okay?"

"I won't." Enzo chimes in.

"Neither will I." I smirk.
