Killer breathed out, opening the door to his apartment. "Night, I'm home!" No response. Odd, Killer shrugged it off. Letting himself in and closing the door. Flipping on the lights, then hearing hissing. "Turn them off you idiot!" Thereeee we go, Killer would flip off the lights. "Do you really have to do that every time you come home?" Killer chuckled, putting down his bag. "How else am I meant to see my kitty?"

The little neko would hiss at Killer, that little bell-collar jiggling. "Shut up! I'm not your pet! I'm a stray and I always will be!" Killer would chuckle again, he knows for a fact that Killer and Nightmare had grown up together. Nightmare had simply disappeared one day, and Killer found him again. "Whatever you say my kitten~" "Shut up you mutt!" Killer blinked, did...Nightmare really just refer to him as a dog?

The Neko would lay back down, curling his tails around his body. Acting like a shield for his tiny and weak body. (Yes, his tentacles are now tails- lol) "Oh come on Night, I'm not that bad am I?" Nightmare would open his eye for a moment, then closed it. "Wow...what a great response." "Do you always have to bother me?! God! Go find another cat to 'rescue!' Killer would just laugh, sighing softly.

Killer had removed his glasses and jacket, not really in the mood for making anything. "Well are you hungry Night?" The cat's ears flicked back to Killer, his eye briefly opening before closing. Then he responded. "I'm not in the mood for human food, I want a bird." He slipped off couch, revealing that he wasn't even bigger than the couch, he could easily be mistaken for a toddler. He led himself to the window and sat there, staring out.

Killer would hum, going back to his bag and taking out something. "I have an idea, you remember when Epic brought his pet over?" Nightmare let out a soft hiss, turning head back to Killer with a glare. "That mutt Color?" Killer would blink then sigh. "Yes, that 'mutt.' He let me keep the leash since he might bring him back here." Nightmare's face would scrunch up in disgust, ears laid back onto his skull while his tail sagged in a irradiated manner.

"Yeah? Why are you telling me this?" Nightmare questioned. Killer would hum, waving the blue leash in the air. "You wanna go outside?" Nightmare's head would turn back to Killer, tail raised and ears perked. A hint of curiosity flashing his single eye. "Well...?" Killer asked, holding a laugh. Nightmare took in a breath then slipped down and went over to Killer, getting as close as he would allow. "You needa get closer Night~.

The cat let out a brief hiss before getting closer, allowing Killer to clip on the leash. He then opened the door and Nightmare launched out of room, leading Killer out. Tail high and ears flicking about, listening to every sound. Killer would open the door, watching the small Neko lead him down into the forest. "Hey uh Night? We're going off the trail..." "I'm aware mutt, just let me have this." Killer was kinda tired of him always interrupting him, but followed anyways.

Killer was led down a hill, Nightmare then stood completely still. "Can you let me off the leash?" The cat asked, turning to face Killer. "What? No, I just got you!" "Please just let me have this! I wanna be free just for a bit longer! I promise I'll be back!" Killer would sigh softly, leaning down to Nightmare. "You promise you'll come back to me?" Nightmare nodded, ears flattened. Killer then released Nightmare.

The cat then shot off into the forest, all fours...tail and ears raised. Killer sighed softly, sitting down on the forest floor. Knowing well that it was going to take a long while. The leaves falling down of the trees, landing peacefully down onto the floor next to him. Birds distantly chirping, Killer breathed out, it was quite relaxing. It was nice to have a break from the noisy and loud city. So Killer waited...

And waited...

He had fallen asleep.

...

He would blink awake, everything hit him at once. Nightmare, the leash...he would sit up, looking around. It was dark, how long had he been asleep? He didn't know, he would sigh softly. He shouldn't have let Nightmare out...he wanted to give up, this cat have escaped from his four times...had he really hated him that much? Killer shook his head, closing his sockets.

His sockets almost immediately shot open when he heard rustling in the dark, he would lift his head up. His 'eyes' darting around, what was it? Was it wind? He knew that this forest had animals in it and some were dangerous. More was heard, right in front of him...something came out, head lowered. Ears high and tails wagging about. Killer kept quiet, staring at it in the dark.

The cat would mew, sitting right in front of Killer...and dropped a dead raven in front of him. Staring at him with the widest grin he'd seen. "I did it!" Nightmare sighed contently. "I had to hunt him all day to catch it!" Killer would smile, reaching a hand out and stroking Nightmare's skull. The cat gave off a light purr, smiling. "We can go home now! I already ate off the good parts of it!"

Killer smiled, clipping the leash back on. "Can we do this again?" Nightmare asked, standing up and following Killer. "Do you promise you'll come back to me?" Killer questioned, turning his head slightly to that cat behind him. The cat would hum before nodding.

"Sure, we can do this again."
