Cristelle pov:

Later in the eve,

*Eating candies*

The maid said I had to disguise if I had to go outside. What in the...

Ha..I wasn't able to inform Ray that I was going outside. He must be busy...

Haa....what is Ray doing? he must be happy since he found his brother. But I still can't believe it's  Clyde.....wait...is that his real name? Ray must be busy because of these matters. I wish I can be of help too.

"Hello sweetie... what are you doing here?"

I turned to see Ray walking towards me.

What?! I was just thinking though...

"wow! for the first time you're coming and greeting me normally....haha. Usually you'd appear out of nowhere", I smirked.

He also gave a chuckle.... but it was somewhat unusual.

Does he have a problem or something he can't talk about...

"So explain", I said, making my face look serious. His eyes wavered when I asked.

"That.....", he raised his eyebrow

"yes, about your brother", I said. This guy is hiding so many secrets.

"That's... you see- my brother..."

"What?", I asked again.

He chuckled but looked kinda flustered

He must not want to talk about his brother then?

"Why talk about another person when I'm here... ", he said as he pulled me closer.

"Hey what are you doing!", I said in surprise. But I made sure I was not too loud.
"We're literally standing in the middle of the streets. Don't go hugging me like this...", I said awkwardly.

"Why? Are you embarrassed?"

I blushed.

"Let's go to a corner if you want", he said smirking at me.

"What!",I looked up at him who was hugging me tightly.

Why is he acting like this today!!!

Wait.... something's  wrong... this doesn't feel like ray..

"You're so red", he replied with a blank expression.

"I- I ... what...you saying ", I stammered.
Maybe I'm mistaken... he was like this before...

I just wanted to come to the village to enjoy the festival week.
The maids said it would be fun... but I didn't expect Ray to come along

And he's flirting too much today... looks like my peaceful time is over...

Before I could even think, he pulled me to a corner. It looked like a small alley, with not much people there.

Ray's acting weird today...

"Hey! Stop pulling me- I'm.."

Before I could finish, he pulled my chin upward a little harshly.

This isn't ray.... is it? I was right

"Who are you?", I asked sternly.

"Who do you think", he replied smiling slyly.

That was Ray's face... but that wasn't ray... I'm sure of it.

I tried to get out of his grasp. My face hurts.

I gave him a punch on his stomach

But he held my waist even tighter ...

Did I hold back on my punch? I'm sure I punched him hard... he should be on the floor by now...?

"Hey that hurts!", I hissed at him.

"I am sorry"

"If you're sorry, let go!"

He smiled again.

I Should run off...But how?

"Calm down, calm down", he left me and started laughing

"Continue your job then.. I'll get going",I said and turned.

"Who said you can leave?"

"Who has to?", I raised an eyebrow.

He laughed again.

Ha... this moron...

I turned to walk away.
This time he didn't say anything.

Thank God... he scared me for a second
I need to inform Ray about this.

"Goodbye miss"
*Snaps*

I turned to look.

But wait.... who spoke to me just now?
I looked around,  but no one was there.

What happened? Why am I in a rundown alley?

It's getting late... need to go back.

*In the mansion*
Inside the library,

"Cristelle!"

I received a sudden hug from the back

"Oh ray! Work done?"

"Yeah....hmm", he replied as he was snuggling.

Suddenly he stopped.

"What's this different scent on you? You don't like to wear perfume...", he said.

"What scent?", I sniffed the cloth near my hands.
"I don't get anything?"

"Your nose is just sharp... the different scent might be because I went out for the festival", I said.

"Oh....okay..", he hugged me again.
"What book were you reading?"

"History of this country...?",I replied.

"Why history.?", he chuckled.

"I just picked a random book from your library"

"Asher ? I need to have a talk regarding...... oh hello miss Cristelle!", came Ryder.

" good evening", I greeted him.

"How do you even find the right time to interrupt me?", Ray sighed.

"Hehe", Ryder was laughing silently .

"Sorry cristelle, Just a minute...", ray left the library.

Oh! Look what I've found

It's a bunny.

She must be that person...
That is really my nephew's magic from what I can sense...

Should I just kill her off now and then take care of him?
