Chapter 30

Kai's POV

For these past four months I felt like I was just existing and not living. I wish I had done something that day she left. I've been meaning to ask her to the ball for weeks atleast maybe we could have gotten back to being friends outside work cause right now it's as if holding her in my arms that weekend was just a dream.

But she's going with Levi. Fucking perfect Levi. I throw a magazine at the door without thinking just as Chad entered. "Wow am I glad that it was just magazine" he said. "Who crawled up your butt?" He asked.

"Levi" I said. "Oooh Lee is stealing your girl" he replied. "Really man really"I said.

"What it's not my fault that you chickened out of telling her how you feel." He said and he was right I only got myself to blame. Flipping through pictures of that weekend and watching the videos. And the pictures I took of her when she was asleep.

I always ask Mary about her the two have gotten close over the time. "Look man Levi is my brother and I want what's best for him" Chad said. "Just kidding don't care bout him he probably just want to get in her panties so go get your girl." He said making me laugh a bit. "So they have not done the deed? Not that I care or anything." I asked.

"No you know how Levi be. Always bragging like a high school boy whenever he just got some." He said. "True" I said.

"Listen I got a plan just make sure your leave when she's leaving" he said with a huge smile which tells me he is up to no good. We continued to discuss work related issues and him and Ashley also Im truly happy for him.

I did as Chad told me I saw on the sercurity camera as Chleo was about to leave and I did the same.
I have no idea what Chad had planned and what Im getting myself into. "Noooo you got to be kidding me I just drove the car!" I heard her scream and sounded defeated making me a little worried about what Chad had done

"Chleo? I thought I was the last person here. Hey hey hey what's wrong". I asked and she pointed at the flat tyre and seeing it made me laugh cause that could only be Chad but I swallowed my laughter when i noticed the look I was getting. "Ughm I'll phone someone to fix it. Come I'll take you home." I said. "How will I get to work" she pouted making her look extra cute. "I'll come pick you up. Happy?" I asked. "Happy" she replied. The drive to her place was quiet.

"Here we are" I said breaking the silence. "Thank you, uhhh would you like to come inside for a drink or coffee or something" she said. "Yes I'd love to" I answered almost immediately. I see she changed some of the funiture I chose to her liking and the pictures of her family, Mia , Ashley and Chad up on her selves and wall. Why am I not up there. And Levi!.

She was giving that sweet smile as always . "So you guys are like a thing now?" I asked curiously. "No we strictly friends" she said as she took her shoes off. "What would you like to drink? Are you hungry I can make something quick" she ask. "I'll have some red wine" I said as I followed her to the kitchen. Her phone started ringing I think its her parents cause she started talking her home language I showed her that Im starting with dinner so long she nodded yes. Ten minutes into her conversation she turned the phone to me it's probably my 3rd time seeing them. "Hey Mr and Mrs M how are you doing? " I asked them. They are such a lovely couple I can see where Chleo got her looks and manners from.

"Hey my son in law. We are doing good and you" her mom joked. "Mom please do not embarrass me his my boss plus he has a girlfriend." Chleo said turning her phone to herself. "I do not have a girlfriend." I defended myself. "Thank you my son." Her mom said laughing. "We'll come to discuss labola(dowry) negotiations next month " this time her father joined in on teasing.

"Sure thing Mr M I'll make sure my father and uncles are this side" I said laughing and she threw me with the roll of paper towels at me. "See there my girl my son in law has great respect for our tradition" her dad said.

"Mom. Dad I will face time you guys when Im alone. Have a great day love you" she said to them "love you too" I heard them say in between laughter before she switched off her phone. "You! Mr Russo. You think you're funny" she said taking deadly steps towards me. "Aaaw come on it was just innocent fun" I said.

"Fun you say." Giving me an evil grin. "Last time I remembered you're very ticklish let's see how much fun that is" she said still walking towards me. "You wouldn't dare" I replied.

I have moved back and didn't realise that the fridge is behind me so I had no where run. She started tickling me and the only way to make her stop I grabbed her hands and pulled her to me and put her hands and mine behind my back. It happend so quick next thing I know is my lips on hers. I kissed her. I let go of her hands to pull face closer cause in that moment it felt like I couldn't get enough of her the only time I break free was for air.

I have to kiss her again just to make sure Im not dreaming this time the kiss was more slower and intimate begging for entrance, and she finally allowed me as her lips slightly parted allowing me to slip into her mount and she kissed me back. Her lips felt like they where made for mine I nibbled on her lower lip and an audible moan escaped her mouth, before I let go to catch my breath.

I pulled a strand of hair from her face to get a better look at her, her lips slightly swollen because of what just happen she's still as beautiful as ever. "You're so beautiful" I said just above a whisper and she quickly looked away and I turned her face gently towards me and gently pecked her few times on the lips. "Where your bathroom?" I asked her. "Uhmm the 2nd door to your right" she said. I need to get away from her for a moment cause someone decided to wake up.
