Kai's POV

"Baby please answer me, say something?" I whispered. "Chleo!" I screamed with everything in me. Not again this can't be happening again. Moments later Fei Fei and Jake came rushing through the door. "Mr...Mr Russo is everything ok" I heard Fei Fei ask me. Is everything ok?. My entire world came crashing down. So no everything is not ok. Pulling myself together grabbing my keys.

"Jake cancel all my meetings for meetings" I told him and rushed out of the office. "Fei, Chleo has been in an accident, would you please handle her things till she gets back. I need to go." I tell the both of them.

Taking out my phone to call Ryan, he wasnt just her driver but also her bodyguard, she just didn't know it and he had been following her since she got her own car.

"Ryan where's Chleo. What happened how, serious is it. What the fuck happened." I screamed at him. "A truck who ran a red traffic light crashed into her. There's fire fighters on the scene now cause she needs to be cut loose from the van to avoid further injuries, they don't know if she's alive or not." He said. I can hear him hesitant to say something.

"Ryan out with it" I screamed unable to keep my emotions in control. "It wasn't accident." He said. "What the fuck do you mean it wasn't an accident!" I was losing my patience. "The person who rammed into got out of The truck and into another viechle and sped off. They got her out and will be transported to the nearest hospital I'll send you the location" He said.

"Good. I've got another call coming through." I told him. "Kai, Jake send me message what happened is she ok?" he said. "I dont know yet, will you get Chleo's family from the airport and bring them to the hospital I'll forward you the adress." I told him. "Ok I'll see you in a few." "Ok thanks please let everyone else know, see at the hospital" I told him. "Its cool I'll see you see. And Kai please stay strong for her."he said. "Yeah" Is all I can master to get out and hanged up.

Please baby hold on, dont leave me. Tears where streaming down my face scared of the thought of losing the only thing that makes sense in my life right now

Rushing up to the hospitals reception desk. "Chleo Smith what room is she" I asked the girl behind the desk. "She's in the ICU first floor." She replied. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me to even listen what else she had to say.

I saw Ryan and he showed me with his eyes towards the room she's in just as a Doctor exited the room. "Chleo Smith?" He said her name to know if Im her family. "Doctor how is she" I asked him. "Are you family.?" He asked. "Her fiance" I replied immediately. "She's lost a lot of blood. Swelling on the brain that require immediate surgery. The nurse is getting her ready for it and will be transferred to the operating theather as soon as possible. She also has a broken leg and ribs she's very lucky because it's inches away from piercing through her lungs, that's all we can tell for now until she wakes up. There's some paper work to full out. We will inform you as soon as the surgery is done" he said and left.

It feels like something inside of me died seeing her through the window covered in pipes and connected to machinery. I can feel a panic attack coming Everything infront of me is starting to look blurry. "I can't breath" I said gripping my chest. "Breathe Kai breath!" I heard Mia say before I blacked out.

Sunny day out and we're having a picnic in the garden at my place.
"You look so beautiful " I told her. She just smiled, thanked me and looked the other way as she always does when she gets shy. "So adorable" I continued. "Would you stooop" she giggled and playfully hit me in the arm. She looked breathtaking in her yellow sundress and a sunflower, flower crown on her head full of curls. Yesterday was "washday" and she warned me not to touch it but I'm so tempted. "What? But you are. I love everthing about you" I told her. A few moments have passed while we stare into eachothers wys. "Can I kiss you" I broke the silence. "Only if you can catch me" She said jumping up and took off. I ran after her trying to catch her."Come on Chloe this is not fair" I said inbetween laughter. Pulling a funny face "You can't catch me, you can't catch me" she said laughing. Just as I was about to grab her she vanished. "Chleo? Chleo" I called out to her "Come on babe it's not funny anymore " I called louder. Then I realised that all the flowers in the garden had died. "Chleo?!"

"Kai wake up" Chad tapped me on the shoulder. It was just a dream. My face was wet, my throat felt dry. "Who did this to her, Chad. Who would want to hurt an innocent person" I asked him still laying down with my eyes closed. "You have to be strong for her. They started operating on her. Its going to take about 3 hours they said." Looking at his watch. "Well just one hour left till we find how's she doing" he said

Just then the door open and Ryan entered. "Boss I got an update" he said. I looked at him to continue. "The vehicle that was left behind on the scene is non traceable. They ran the second one and registered to a Giovanni Gallo according to Detective Brooks. His a wanted Hitman in a lot of countries" what he said made me turn around.

"Hitman? Why would want to kill an innocent woman? Who!" I said to no one in particular. "I just came to tell you that, I'll let you know when we get more information" he said and I just not in acknowledgement then he left.

"I need to get out of here" I said to myself. "Take it easy man you just had a panic attack." Chad said. "I need to be there when she wakes up." I told him while pulling out the IV drip, making my way to the waiting area outside the operating theather.
