(21) Wedding Date

Four months later 

Bucky came by Aubrie's office on his lunch break. She finished up her phone call as he laid her food down on her desk. 

"Thank you. But you do know my office isn't in the neighborhood of yours." She said 

"I know. I wanted to see you and ask you a question. You know how my little sister is getting married this weekend." He said 

"Yeah. I seen the decorations at your parents house the other day. It's going to look beautiful I would have never picked Coral and navy for colors that went together but it looks gorgeous." She said 

"I want you to go with me as my date." He said 

She looked up from her burger. "You want me to go with you to a wedding?" She said

"Yes.." he said 

She sat there for a few minutes. "Okay I guess I can." She said 

"You are getting that same look you had when I asked you to pretend to be my fiancée. If you are worried that someone may think we are breaking rules. Then you should know that you have been exempted from the rule of no relations with the bosses. We have a baby together we have to have one..so I made sure when the boys were setting up policies and procedures you were exempted." He said 

"Oh..well that's good considering we have been spending a lot of time together over the past several months." She said 

"So you are good darlin." He said as he checked his watch. 

She smiled at him as he came over to her. "I've to get back to the office. So I'll see you later.." he said as he kissed the top of her head. 

"Bye.." she said as he left.

Jana came in with a smile. "You two are getting closer every day. Are two banging it yet?" Jana said

"Shut up Jana.." she said 

"What? I'm just saying he is gorgeous no wonder your daughter is gorgeous. Your genes and his genes..damn. I can't wait to see what your baby boy would look like." Jana said 

"Go work and leave me alone." Aubrie said as she threw a napkin at her friend. 

That Saturday afternoon they all went into the Hamptons for the weekend. It was an ocean front wedding that looked gorgeous in coral and navy. James saw Bucky pulled in he watched as his son buttoned his jacket and opened his passenger door. Aubrie stepped out as he helped her. They also had little 7 month old Kamryn with them in a coral summer dress with matching bow. 

Bucky smiled as he watched the three of them make their way up. 

"Well look at my sweet girl.." James said as he took Kamryn. 

"Both mama and daddy look nice too." James said as he played with her. 

"Here daddy..it's almost time for papa to give away the last baby." James said 

Bucky took Kamryn and they went to where the chairs were set up. They took their seats as everyone else did. Brandon ushered Winnie in along with his grandmother. The ceremony began it made everyone a little teary eyed his little sister and Noah were college sweethearts and had just finished medical school. So they had a lot to say to each other after being together so long. 

When the reception began it didn't take long for Aubrie to figure out the real reason why Bucky wanted her there. Mara was very much still involved with the family and laughing it up with Winnie and James. It made her sick that someone who was a medical professional and best friends with Winnie that she would hurt her best friend's son the way she hurt Bucky. 

"Darlin it's okay.. I'm fine." He whispered 

"I think that you should tell your parents. It's not right..you have nephews James." She said 

"And she's almost 60 I don't think she would be that hard up for sexual relations now." He said 

She looked at him he cupped her cheek. "Dance with me.." he whispered. 

Brandon took his niece as Bucky took Aubrie out on the dance floor. Mara seen them and he cut her a dirty look. He turned his attention to Aubrie as he held her as they danced to "All My Life" by K-Ci and JoJo as they had their foreheads together. James seen them and tapped Winnie's shoulder. 

"There's my boy.." she whispered. 

That night back at the penthouse they had put Kamryn down for the night. They were both in the tub on either side as he massaged her feet. 

"You should stop wearing such high heels if they hurt your feet this bad." He said 

"No..I like my heels and they make my butt look nice." She said 

"Well your butt looks nice without them too." He said 

She gasped and splashed him. 

"Hey that was rude." He said as he splashed her. 

She shook her head at him. "Just rub my feet.." she said as she laid back against the tub. 

"Thanks for going with me today." He said 

"I like your family. I had fun and it was beautiful. Me and Jay got married at the courthouse. So I' didn't get to have a actual wedding." She said as she sipped her wine. 

After they got out of the tub and they cuddled up in his bed and went to sleep.
