The man laid dead on the ground while crowd surrounded him. Blood spewed out of the wounds. My eyes widened as I immediately grabbed onto Killua and hid my face into his arm. I wasn't very good at blood related things,besides if I was on adrenaline or was on my 'murder spree'. Killua moved his arm and brought me into his side,his arm wrapped around me.

"It's a foreigner."

"Horrible."

"Hey,what happen?" Killua asks"his body suddenly exploded. There was 'bang' from inside his body." A man answers is he dead in real life to?! I knew I couldn't trust this game,what's next? A killer bear forcing us to kill each other?

"He's gone!" I hear Gon exclaim as I hesitantly lift my head from Killua's side. "He returned to the real world...game over." The man was in fact gone,the blood was also gone as well. "Was it the spell he cast on you before?" Gon hums"h*ll if I know..."

"Don't worry. In this game there is no such spell." A voice was heard from behind Killua and I. I pulled away from Killua and we all turned to him. Ew a crusty a** man! He looks like a pedophile to-

"That man was killed by nen,a nen of another player." He answers"do other players kill each other? Why?" Killua asks"you must've heard of the card number limit system,right? There's a limit of how many game cards can exist at once. The more valuable,the less there are. The more players,the less cards. On the other hand,if there's less players then there's a better chance to collect the cards. In our group,we don't spill others blood. Why don't you join? We know a way to clear this game. Come with me if you're interested,my buddies are over there."

"Should we go?" Gon whispers"I don't trust him." I reply"we got into trouble at the start. We better not believe his sweet talk." Killua then turns to him"hey sorry but-"Killua grabs us and starts to walk off"hey wait,it seems like a spell was cast on you by another player on here." Killua stopped and met us go"have you been watching us?" He nods"my task is surveillance and invitation. Besides our group,there are more who keep an eye on the starting location for many reasons. I'll tell you the reasons if you follow us." Gon and Killua exchanged looks"of course afterwards you can decide if you wish to join or not."

"How generous." Killua bares his teeth"I can't help but think there's something behind this." "But to understand why we need companions,you obviously need to have a notion about this game,how difficult,harsh and terrible it is. Everyone once they notice becomes more receptive to my offer. But for you first timers,I think you should just listen to my offer." Killua crosses his arms"and why do you think this is our first time? It's true we just left the starting point but we could be players the left and returned to the game. Is it just because we're kids?"

"Again,I could tell you if you'd come with me. I'll give you an explanation. Book!" His book then appeared"from this,one can conduct you're beginners. Once an opponent takes out his binder,you should do the same. Any older gamer would do the same." He went on for a while and told us a little more we should know,but in the end,I still didn't trust the man. "Have you changed you mind about listening to me?" He points behind him"it's at the plaza."

"Let's go. It's better to get as much information as we can." Killua and I were both skeptical about this man,neither of us trusted him. "I guess so..."Killua trails off"eh?! And you're just going to agree with him?!" Killua grabbed my hand making me blush a little as we followed Gon and the man.

He brought us over to a group of 7 people,the one who stood out the most was the girl wearing pink. She had twin blonde tails,and was wearing a pink,red and white gown,she seemed about our age. "A player was just killed. He arrived at the same time as you...anyway,these three saw it. The 'Devil's Bomb' signature move." Killua then spoke up"the victim was a strongly built guy with black hair. He was the first one accepted at the examination."

"I'll clear up what's on everyone's minds. That guy didn't die from a spell." The skinny tall man declared"out of all the spells,there's not one that can kill or injure people. For that reason,you won't be hurt. And there's less of a risk of death as a spell result. There are 40 spell types in total. Attack,movement,defense and so on. The spells you received are the investigation type like 'trace' or 'adhesion'. A spell like that will reveal information about the person...the locations,cards owned-it becomes the enemies advantage." The man went on for a while and finally told us what their group did.

"So,will you join?"

"I'm not." I quickly say"me neither." Gon agrees"what?" Gon turns on his heel"I'm not because I want to use my own abilities." He begins to walk off"and that guy is just straight up creepy and crusty." I say joining Gon.

I heard rapid footsteps from behind us and knew it was Killua. "Good choice." I tell him"I wasn't just going to abandon you two." I raise a brow at the boy"ok,so maybe I would've left you." He teases"that's mean!" I exclaim as Killua snickers"yo,Gon. Why are you doing this?" Gon stops and takes a breath before turning around. "Sorry Killua,I just couldn't hold back." He says with a nervous smile"I don't understand why you're apologizing to me."

"Well your stuck with your spell now..."Gon trails off sadly"oh that's what this is about...well it's to problem. It's not like it's poisonous. But why were you so angry?" Killua hums"w-well cuz they said Ging's game was only made for bad things like massacre and robbery. I want to enjoy this game like Ging told me to. At the start,I felt that it wasn't going to be a joyride. But it's not terrifying or anything. I thought all the players would be enjoying it. It's true people die but what's scary is not the game,but everyone's mentality. Hurting others just for cards..."

"I think it's as it should be." Killua admits"do you mean that?" Gon asks in slight disbelief"well,it is a Hunter's game after all. I approve of everything but the killing part. For example,two players would wager a card each and then decide the winner will get the losers card,wouldn't you approve to?" He nods"but it could also be said for robbery. It's not like acquiring the card yourself. But forget about those guy alright? Let's just enjoy the game."

"Killua,Y/N,thank you. I am happy you two came here with me...no I'm happy that I met you two." I saw Killua's cheeks turn a bright pink as he looked the other way"d-don't say embarrassing th-things like that."

"I glad I met you as well Gon." He smiles"I really meant it!" Gon the rushes off ahead of us. I glanced at Killua who seemed to be in another world"thinking about your lover?" I hummed"I already told you...it wouldn't happen." I then grab Killua's hand unbeknownst"I'm glad I met you Killua. A-Also,thank you f-for h-holding me back there...you didn't have to." I felt his body stiffen a little"I-I guess you still are like my little sister." I smile lightly at the ground"you're so stupid sometimes..."I then let go of his hand.

I quickly kissed his cheek and ran off to join Gon.
