Evan was poking me awake.

"Yes?" I asked him.

"I'm bored." He whined.

"Go to sleep." I mumbled.

"But I'm not tired anymore." He whined dragging out the 'e'.

I groaned and looked at him. He didn't look tired at all, he looked super energetic.

"Well what can we do." I said while sitting up,"It's still lights out dweeb."

He shrugged his shoulders.

"Let's play twenty one questions!" He answered. I nodded in agreement. We asked way more then twenty one questions but it was still fun nonetheless.

The morning bell rang ending our little game. I got up to get ready unlike Evan, who just sat there.

"You gonna get up or not."

"Not. I very much like this view." He chuckled making me blush behind my mask. My mask. Why do I still wear this mask? The only person I deeply care about knows what I look like so why do I still wear it? I take it off and put it on my desk.

"Whatcha doin'?" Evan asked noticing that I took off my mask.

"I'm done wearing the mask. I've decided to show everyone what I look like." I answered him. He nodded understandingly.

"Now can you please go get ready?" I asked him sweetly.

"Fine," he mumbled once again dragging out the 'e'.
He playfully stomped out the door, winking right before he left. What goes on in that mind of his. Chuckling to myself, I finished getting ready and walked towards the cafeteria.

I sat at the table, everyone was there except Evan. I wasn't hungry so I didn't have any food with me.

The table feel in silence.

"Holy shit, bruh," Craig said," You're fuckin' hot man."

Tyler slapped him on the back of the head, chuckling, before nodding his head in agreement.

Evan sat beside me with a tray of food, startling me. I slightly jumped making him chuckle.

"Hey everybody," he casually said. Everyone looked at him in disbelief.

"Dude, don't you realize that Jon doesn't have his mask on?" Brock said,"How can you act so normal?!"

"I've already seen his face, that's why." He said chuckling at Brock.

"Wait, so why didn't you show us then," Brock continued,"I thought we were friends!"

"Overdramatic much?" I chuckled," And you never asked, that's why."

Brock rolled his eyes smiling. The silence dispersed and soon everyone was having their own little conversations.

The bell rang and everyone decided to hang outside. People stared at me here and there because I didn't have my mask on. Nobody said anything about it, which I guess is a good thing.

Anthony Chaos came outside. He started coming over to us. Oh, this isn't going to go well.

"Excuse me guys, can I talk to you?" He asked everyone. We all nodded.

"Please don't yell at me. I just need to tell you. Please don't tell anyone either." He rambled on. I started to get anxious, hopefully no one freaks out.

"I killed him." He whisper barely audible.

"YOU WHAT?!" Craig yelled.

"I'm sorry-"

"NO, HOW COULD YO-"

"Shut up." I silenced him. They both looked at me. "He has a reason for what he did, let him finish."

"Wait, did you know about this?" Craig asked me in disbelief.

"I-I told him yesterday. It's not his fault, I told him not to tell anyone." He partially lied.

"Okay," Craig said still slightly upset.

I looked around the group as Anthony told his story. Everyone seemed to slightly understand except Craig.

"That's not a legit reason to kill someone," Craig said.

"Hey, what if someone threatened you with Tyler, hm? What would you do?" I said, tired of his stubbornness.

He closed his mouth, turning red.

"Exactly," I said,"We need to forgive him. It's not his fault. If anything, blame Mark."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"There's nothing we can do, though. So sadly, we'll just have to wait it out, okay?" I continued to say. Everyone mumbled their okays, even Craig. It was the truth though, we couldn't do anything.

I'm surprised how quickly they forgave him though. I wonder why they did.
