Avengers Compound:
Emily was curled up on the couch with River as Steve and Bucky sat at the counter arguing about god knows what.
"There are three months until your wedding and you get into an argument with your officiant?" Steve chastised "Are you kidding me."
"He wasn't listening!" Bucky argued.
Emily chuckled.
"You know maybe you two should get married and I'll marry Emily." River joked
"Oh yeah?" Bucky teased "Are you sure you wanna do that? She's kinda feisty."
"And you're not?" Emily laughed
"You're a special kind of feisty." Steve said, walking over and leaning over the back of the couch to kiss her.
He rested a gentle hand on her little bump. He smiled absentmindedly.
"Steve." Emily whispered softly
"Hm?" He asked, snapping out of his little trance.
"You're doing it again." Bucky laughed
Steve leaned down and picked Emily up.
"Where are you going?" River yelled watching him walk down the hall.
"To love on my child somewhere I won't be bullied!" Steve joked.
Bucky and River laughed, chasing them. Tony shook his head and went back to his reading.
"Goofs." He mumbled.
"Who's a goof, daddy?" Morgan's little voice asked
"Hey baby, how'd you get here?" He asked her softly
"The nice man dropped me off." She said
"What-what nice man?" Peter and Tony asked together.
"Mr. Mysterio. He said to tell you he's taking mommy on a trip."
Peter's face dropped.
"He said what?" Tony chuckled
"Mr. Stark." Peter said "Did she just say Mysterio."
"Yeah. Why?"
"I think Pepper may have just been kidnapped."
