Avengers Compound:
Emily relaxed on the couch, watching Clint double check his and Sam's baggage.
"I did that myself already." Sam said
"You always forget something." Steve said, leaning against the counter.
"Like what?"
"Where's falcon?" Clint asked, looking up at Sam.
"Shit!" Sam yelled, running down the hall.
"Em!" Tony yelled from by the coffee maker "Want a cup?"
Emily shook her head and smiled.
"No thanks. Trying to cut it out." She said
Bucky rolled his eyes and leaned over the back of the couch.
"Still haven't told them?" He whispered in Russian.
"Nope." She quipped
"At least tell your husband." Her brother chided "Soon."
Emily looked up at him and smiled.
"Fine. Big brother."
He hugged her gently.
"Are you sure you two aren't gonna kill each other before the mission is over?" Steve asked
"Better than me and Bucky going." Tony mumbled
"You'd keep him safe." River said "or I'd kill you in your sleep."
Tony chuckled and rolled his eyes.
Natasha walked past Emily with a bag of fast food. Emily wiggled out of Bucky's hug and ran for the bathroom. Tony cocked his head to the side.
"She okay?" He asked
Steve shrugged.
"Did the same thing this morning."
"If I had to eat your cooking, I'd puke too." Sam laughed
Clint shook his head and continued checking bags.
"I know blind men who see more than you." He mumbled
"What was that?" Steve asked
"Nothing." Clint said
He rezipped the bags and started carrying them to the jet. Steve stood there, confused. Bucky chuckled.
"I'm gonna go check on Emily." River said, annoyed by the childish men.
She walked down the hall and knocked on the bathroom door.
"Em? You okay?"
"Can you grab my toothbrush?" Emily replied "it's in my purse."
River grabbed the toothbrush and passed it through a crack in the door.
"Thanks."
River sighed.
"I'm surprised Bucky hasn't told Steve yet. He's dying to."
Emily chuckled.
"If he does, we can take turns killing him."
River laughed and leaned up against the bathroom door.
"Tell me what?" Steve asked, standing in the doorway.
