Previously (Toni's POV): After lying down on my bed for about 5 minutes I received a call from Cheryl.
"Cheryl?"
"I want you back"
"You maniac."

Cheryl's POV:
It was Saturday morning. I woke up and went downstairs and was greeted by Betty. The first thing she said to me was:
"Good morning Cheryl!"
"Morning Betty." I responded
"So.. you at that party last night." She laughed
"I only remember some of it." I thought back
"Mhm.. they say drunk words are sober thoughts." She said
"Who says that?" I asked
"The internet." She replied
"Well what did I say..?" I asked, slightly concerned
"I'm not sure myself. But you should ask Toni." Betty said
"I talked to Toni.." I responded, questioning Betty's statement. Thinking it sounded like a lie
"Yup." She smiled
"Whatever. I'm not talking to her" I rolled my eyes
"Alright then.." Betty said "Hey wait, before you go back upstairs.. do you wanna go somewhere today? Just me and you? A cousin outing." She asked
"Oh yeah sure. Sounds fun. See you in an hour?" I replied
"Yup." She smiled
Betty's POV:
Then I pulled out my phone

1 hour.
Fangs Fogarty🙌:
On it.

Toni's POV:
"Fangs how come you didn't come back to play games last night?" I asked
"I was tired, sorry." He replied
I had asked him because I wanted to find out if he saw me with Cheryl, and thankfully he didn't. Otherwise I wouldn't hear the end of it.
"Anyways, I came to ask you if you wanted to go to Pops or something in a hour?" Fangs asked
"Oh yeah. That's a good time for breakfast aswell."
"Breakfast at 11:30?" He questioned
"Don't you remember me and Jug having breakfast all the time at 11:30?" I laughed
"Oh yeah.. well whatever. Wanna play games until then?" Fangs replied
"Yeah. Let's go ask Sweetpea and Jug." I responded
As we opened the door to Sweetpea's trailer we saw him and Josie snuggled up, asleep on his couch.
"Aww." Fangs said
They both woke up almost immediately and Fangs apologised.
"No need to bro." Sweetpea replied
"Well I better get going." Josie nervously laughed
"We were actually going to play some video games and head off to Pops if you wanted to join?" I asked
"I wish I could stay and you guys could watch me fail but my mum will start worrying if I don't come back soon. I didn't tell her anything about last night.." Josie worried
"Oh, no problem." I reassured
"Bye Josie!" Sweetpea waved
"Bye!" Josie waved and rushed out the door
Fangs and I both then smirked at Sweetpea and he just rolled his eyes and laughed. We went and got Jug and began playing.
1 hour later

Cheryl's POV:
"So.. where are we going?" I asked Betty
"Not far! Come on!" She lead me to the car
After a short drive we arrived at Pops.
"Pops?" I questioned
"Yeah. Just some food first.. you head inside and Ill be there in a couple mins. Just need to call Jughead about something." She replied
I was excited for what was going to happen next. I sat down in my previously favourite booth
We watched them enter the and walk to the 2nd booth to the left of Pops and we entered in the 1st booth to the right.
I heard the ring of the door opening. No other then Toni Topaz.
"Hm." I said
"Mind if I sit?" She asked
I just gestured for her to sit down, because she'd probably do it anyways
"I'm waiting for Betty." I stated
"I don't think she's coming in" Toni pointed to my car, Betty no longer standing there
"Knowing them it was just so we could talk." I replied
"That's why I asked to sit." Toni said
"Right." I responded
"So.." She started a conversation
"So..." I added in
Toni's POV:
"I'm just going to cut to it. What happened with us?" I questioned
"I never wanted to hurt you.." Cheryl looked disappointed
"Hurt me? Cheryl you broke up with me out of nowhere and ignored me." I replied
"I- It.. It's all because of my mother okay. She had me not tell you anything but what can she do if you're with me! Toni, I was scared of what she would do to you.. She's done terrible things in the past. I didn't want to risk her driving you away." Cheryl blurted out
"I don't know how to respond.." I said
Just as Cheryl was about to say something the door burst open.
"Then don't say anything." Penelope Blossom stated
"Mother?" Cheryl questioned
"Yes. Now follow me or so help your friends. You both should know exactly what I'm talking about." Penelope instructed.
Cheryl and I looked at eachother. I saw the look of worry in her eyes and realised what her mother meant. We both then followed into her car. She had Cheryl sit in the front seat and me in the back. Forcefully separating us.

A/N: The thing with my updating schedule (that I don't have) is that I'll update on like Sunday or Monday and then I'll want to update the next day or 2-3 days later and be like "no it's too soon" so I draft a bit. Get distracted for a couple days. And lastly publish like a week later. Sometimes even 2. But occasionally I'll publish twice in a week.
Anyways! This is the 2nd last chapter. So :)
