Previously (Toni's POV): "But you have to know your mother's wrong. You're not deviant, you're not loveless." I explained, grabbing her hand.
"You're.. sensational."

"Well if I'm not wrong you two were spying. But we'll just say you two are here on a date together. You're welcome." Kevin said
"Kevin don't you dare!" Cheryl announced
"CHONIII-" Kevin screamed, cut off by Cheryl's hand over his mouth

Toni's POV:

Cheryl🍒:
Hey T, there's going to be a party at V's around 7 tonight. You wanna come? I'll text you the address if yes.

I don't really know Veronica but I guess sure. I'll be needing that address now.

Cheryl🍒:
Yeah. Too babyish or whatever? I call people a nickname like that when they mean something to me.

No! It's cute. See you tonight.

Cheryl's POV:

"You invited Toni?" Veronica asked
"Yeah. Am I not allowed to?" I replied
"Nah. She's cool. Heard she's the HBIC of the Southside or something. Also heard Kevin ships you two." Veronica said
"Yeah she is. But it doesn't define her, she's quite caring actually. Also of course Kevin told you" I responded
"He only told Betty and I, apparently Archie already knew" she said
"Yup. I don't think we're entirely there yet though. Well, I don't know. She's perfect" I announced
"Well you're in love. I'll be rooting for you two at the party" Veronica replied. I sighed at the first sentence. Did I really love her? Do I love Toni Topaz?

"Kevin and Fangs are thriving, Veronica and I are going well. What about Cheryl and Topaz?" Archie said
"She's so in love with her Arch. Watch how she'll look at her when she walks in." Kevin replied and they both laughed. Stopping when I shot them both a threatening glare. Finally, Toni and the Serpents arrived. Including Jughead. I stared at Toni, inviting her and Fangs to come over to us.
"See. Told you. Anyways I'm going to go find the host, also known as my girlfriend. I'll leave my two ships alone." Archie stated

Toni's POV:

"What was all that?" I laughed
"Archie being a pest. The usual." Cheryl replied
"Totally ship Choni." Kevin said, gesturing Fangs to walk off with him. Leaving us alone.
"Oh my god I can't with them." Cheryl said with an annoyed tone.
"But.. what is with us? Friends, more, I'll always be here for you anyways." I replied
"I don't know. But Toni.. I love that you're.." she thought "you know, so caring" she continued
"Of course, you've been through so much. You deserve it." I hugged her as we stared into each other's eyes for a few seconds.
"Have you two kissed yet?!" Veronica came over and whisper shouted, clearly drunk.
"She's a lightweight" Cheryl said
"Why Veronica, you hoping we kissed or something" I winked back
"You maniac" Cheryl responded. We then talked for the rest of the party, discussing things like a hangover wasn't what we planned to get since Cheryl had family visiting and I had a few Serpent meetings tomorrow's. She then got up to leave around 2am and we carried Fangs and Kevin to the back of her car.
"So I'll come to the trailer park, help you lift Fangs into his trailer. That okay?" Cheryl asked
"Yeah." I replied, smiling at her.
"What about Sweetpea, last time I saw him he was passed out on the floor." Cheryl said
"Jughead and Betty have got him. Also I saw Archie looking after Veronica, everyone's fine." I replied
"Just checking" she responded. The drive was just our usual conversations. Random stuff until we arrived and we carried him into his trailer onto the couch, taking his shoes off.
"Thanks Cher" I said, walking her back to her car.
"No problem TT, I could talk to you all day. Literally" she replied and I waved goodbye.

A/N: Short chapter, idk. I originally wrote a kiss in but I deleted it just cause I want them to have quite a lot of interactions before kissing/dating. So now it's just a random one, there will probably be more of these later. Maniac lyrics will be referenced later.. a lot later. But if anyone makes it to there then they'll get it.
