19. A New Introductory?

Previously (Toni's POV): "Anyways why'd we start the fake rivalry this early? Weren't we supposed to date then fake breakup." I questioned
"My mother. She knows you and your father." Cheryl stated
"My father?" I said, confused
"Yeah. I don't know what she'll do, she did kill my father.." Cheryl replied
"I've never even met my father, did she say where he was?"
"Right here in Riverdale" Cheryl stated
"No way.." I began processing the newly leant information

"Shit, shit, shit.." Cheryl stressed
"What." I groaned, yawning
"We've only got 30 minutes before school and I've gotta go get my clothes from Kevin's." she said
"You can just borrow mine" I suggested
"I would love to TT, but how does that say we're rivalry?" Cheryl continued and I just nodded
"Give me 5 minutes, I'll drive you." I said
"That's too long. Do you think Fangs or Sweetpea would do it?" Cheryl asked
"Uhm maybe Fangs. Cya Cher."
"Bye TT, thanks for your help." She kissed me on the cheek and ran out over to Fangs' trailer.

Cheryl's POV:
Fangs called out saying he couldn't, so eventually Sweetpea ended up driving me there. He said apparently all he wanted was for me to pair him up with someone, and stupidly I agreed. There wasn't anyone who matched him.. yet. Anyways I got to Kevins and immediately had a quick shower, got my clothes on, and did my makeup then rushed to school. I arrived with 5 minutes to spare.
"25 minutes.. that's definitely a record" I stated
Everyone was already inside and nobody but the groupchat members were outside, so I waved at Toni and she waved back.
"Veronica and I's anniversary is coming up." Archie said
"Cute. Does that mean Betty and Hobo's is too?" I asked
"Yup, and you can say Jughead." Archie replied
"That's offbrand, leave her." Kevin responded
"Don't worry Kev, I wouldn't have anyway" I laughed.

(All that was written about a week and a half ago, not that anything's changed I'm just mentally noting that I need to update more)

Toni and I shared the same class, per Wetherbee's request. He hadn't told my mother which I was thankful for. I wasn't actually sure why he didn't tell her but I didn't care since it benefits me. We were pared up for our first assignment together, a biology one in science. Of course I had to argue about this to cause less suspicion.
"I didn't think Wetherbee was serious! Can't you revoke this or something, I'm not being forced to work on this with her!" I yelled
"No Ms. Blossom, Mr. Wetherbee has stated that you shall be arranged to be partnered with Ms. Topaz for the rest of the year."
"Yeah Bombshell, you were there when Wetherbee told us. And you remember what I said?" Toni smirked
"That I can't handle a challenge? I remember your pathetic assumption, which is probably something you said to make yourself seem indomitable."
"Well actually no, but I'm glad you think I'm unable to be overcome" Toni winked
I let out a loud groan before interrupted by the teacher.
"Girls! See this is what Wetherbee means, you need to learn to be civil with eachother and if this is what it takes then you better start ensuing." He said

"Alright. Class will be over in 3 minutes but before you go we have a new student joining us, her name is Josephine McCoy! Come on in Josephine!" He announced
"Hi my name is Josephine, but please call me Josie. I moved here from New York, I was focusing on my music there and I plan to go back for college but for now I'm just going to get through high school. Is um.. Veronica Lodge in this class?" Josie asked
"No, but Cheryl Blossom will introduce you" replied
"I will?" I questioned
"Fine, Betty Cooper will. Betty?"
"I'd be happy to. Do you know her?" Betty asked
"Ye-" Josie was cutoff by the bell ringing for our next class.
"You girls can discuss on the way to your next class. Have a great day and remember to read your textbooks for preparation for your next cla- Ah why am I even continuing everyone's left" the teacher finished
