KASAI

"Huh?"

"You need to convince the Taylors that Max is really Mas and if they don't come help us they really will lose him forever."

"You just said that they don't believe it's him."

"That's why you need to convince them."

"I look like this! They'll never believe me!" I yelled.

"Here, take this thumb drive." Zylith said, handing it to me. "It's been translated into the Earth language English. This has detailed reports about what we did to Max and even the secret reports after we all thought he was dead. I found them in the files on the former doctor's computer. This is the evidence that they need to show that Max wasn't killed, but was a clone when he was sent back the first time. This is your ticket to get them to believe you."

I took the thumb drive gingerly, looking over the evidence of my father's torture while he was stuck in that floating tube.

"Take Britain with you. She's good with all that psychological stuff. I mean, she is a psychiatrist."

"What about us?" Kole asked.

"You can come too. Road trip for everyone." Dr. Armiallo said with a smirk.

I feel like this is going to be way worse than it should be...

"So, you're actually only two years old?" Dr. Armiallo asked with a grin to me.

"Yeah... kind of..."

This was so awkward. I've got a psychiatrist driving me to my estranged grandparent's house with two heavily pregnant teenage dudes in the back seat of this luxury car with the only evidence of my father being on this tiny little thing in the hands of an alien hybrid child who looks older than he should.

"Do you have regular contact with your father?" she asked.

"No, I've actually never met him in person."

"What? Are you serious?"

"I don't need to meet him to know him."

"That is a very interesting theory. How do you know so much about him then? Is it because everyone has talked about him?"

"No, I've met him in my dreams..." Dr. Armiallo lifted her eyebrows. "It's an Elbaskin thing. We have the ability to access others by means of dreams. I was born and saw him, but I was taken away two days later and he was locked away before I knew him."

"For someone who hasn't officially met their father you seem very determined to help him and you have a beautiful love for him. With your abilities to speak with him only through your mind, what are your conclusions about him?"

"He's a better father than the King, the one who is supposed to be my father. Max could have killed me, rejected me... I was a foreign object in his body and he could have been scared enough to try and eject me, but he didn't... He faced me within his mind and found me... loved me... and because of that, I was able to transform and form a bond."

"BOO!!!" Dawaen yelled from the backseat as he ate some Twizzlers. "Your story is made of syrup and sunshine and makes me sick."

"I'm sorry you don't have a connection with your kids like I have a connection with my dad." I said, being genuine.

"You don't need to feel sorry for me, kid, I'm perfectly fine not having a connection to these kids. I mean, look at you. You have no idea what exactly you are, you're stuck in a body that's too old for you with a mind that's still confused as to how old you should be, and you're stuck between worlds that both kind of despise you."
