Lorenzo's POV

To say that I'm angry would be an understatement. I do not understand why these people keep insisting to make my life 10 times more difficult than it needs to be. If anything, I'm just glad that Agnes called me when she did.

"You, out." I said as I pointed to Alicia. She immediately looked down and away from my gaze before she hurried out the door. I'm not exactly sure why she stayed around so long, but she sure wasn't welcome to stay for the conversation I'm going to have with these girls.

"Thanks for being patient." I said to Portia in the calmest tone I could produce.

"You promised me last night we wouldn't have to worry about her! I shouldn't of just allowed her to point your gun at Anika." Portia yelled as she put her gun back into her bag.

"I will deal with her." I said in an exasperated tone.

"You say that every time and every time you don't." Anika yelled in annoyance.

"I'm warning you Lorenzo, if she tries something again I'm putting a bullet in her." Portia said in a huff.

I knew that Portia wasn't making a threat, but rather a promise. And whenever these girls make a promise, they will follow through with it.

"I know, I know." I said in an effort to diffuse the situation. "Can you just tell me exactly what happened without all the bullshit."

"Anika and I were just minding our own damn business in here like we always do. Then Klarissa and her sister came in her like she was going to tell us off." Portia informed.

I'm not really that surprised to tell the truth. Even though I was hoping that Klarissa would have been mature enough to stay away from them, I couldn't of been more wrong.

"Are you guys okay or-"

"Lorenzo! Just the man I've been looking for." a voice that sounded like Sandra's said.

When I turned around and saw it to be Sandra, I rolled my eyes. Great.

"Sandra, now isn't a good time." I said in a calm tone.

Not only am I still trying to defuse this mess of a situation, but I still haven't really talked to the girls about Sandra's job. The job is the only reason she is in here pestering me right now.

"Yeah you say that every time. I was wondering if I could speak to those girls since you aren't going to do it for me." she said as she started to walk towards them.

"Talk about what?" Portia asked as she looked at me then to Anika.

"She wants us to do a job." Anika said in response to her question.

"Alright." Portia said in an unsure tone. I knew that Portia and I were thinking the same thing. Given Anika's current situation how were they going to be able to complete any type of job.

When Sandra started to explain everything to them, I watched as Luca turned stiff. There was no way that he was going to allow Anika to go knowing how dangerous the mission was.

"Well take it." Anika said as Sandra only got halfway through her speech.

"Anika!" Portia said with surprise. "Don't you think we should take some time to consider things?"

"No, we are doing the fucking job." Anika said as she narrowed her eyes at Portia. I could see them communicating strictly through their eyes, and after awhile they broke their stare and turned to Sandra.

"We'll do it." Portia said in a simple tone.

"Great! I'll get the paper-" Sandra started.

"No Anika you aren't going." Luca said in a harsh tone. I was a little taken back by his assertiveness and firm tone. To be honest, I'm just glad he said something because Anika has no business going on that job. And there is now way that I was going to try and stop her.
