5 YEARS LATER

—————————————-
JENNIES POV

I was washing some dishes. Dinner will be soon so I should hurry up.

"Mommy!" I hear.

I turn to my son who had chocolate all over his face.

I sigh.

"Jake what did I tell you about eating candy before dinner?" I scold him.

"But it was Auntie Chae who gave it." Jake replies.

I look at Chae who was eating candy.

"Hey! You promised not to tell!" Chae whines.

I laugh.

"Come I'll clean up little Jakey!" Lisa says coming and taking Jake with her.

"When will Jisoo unnie be back?" I ask Chae.

"She'll be home soon. She just did some grocery shopping." She replies.

I nod.

It's been 5 years. 5 years since we decided to start a new life here in Australia. We've tried to live a private and quiet life. I have a son. He's 4 years old but turning 5 very soon. His names Jake Kim. He's a little sweet boy who wears glasses and loves to eat candy and sweets. He gets that from Chaeyoung. He loves reading books especially dinosaur books.Watching him grow up with my members help has made me the happiest mom.

If only someone was able to be there. It's ok it was my decision.

"Hey Unnie Jakes birthday is coming up soon." Chae says.

"Yeah, can't believe my baby is turning 5." I frown.

Chae chuckles.

"It's crazy how 5 years have passed...." she says.

We both go silent.

"Do you think they still hate us?" Chae ask.

How could they not? We hurt them. And left them.

"I don't know. It's my fault." I say.

"No it's not Unnie. Remember we'll be there with you through everything." Chae hugs me.

I look at the ring he gave me. I still never took it off. I didn't have the heart to. Our ceo said we should forget about them as they probably have forgotten us. I just couldn't.

Jake has his boxy smile.

"Ok Jake is all cleaned up!" Lisa and Jake come in the kitchen.

I smile.

"I'm home!" We hear Jisoo unnie.

"In the kitchen!" I yell.

"So we'll be having pasta for dinner!" Unnie says taking out her noodles.

"Jake your birthday is coming up. What do you want?"I ask my son.

I pick him up.

"New dinosaur toy!" He replies.

"But you already have so many." I smile.

"Yes but mommy I really want the Tsintaosaurus! Please mommy please!!" Jake begs. Aw those cute eyes.

"Anything for my baby." I tap his nose.

"Mommy I'm turning 5. I'm no baby no more." Jake says putting his hands on his hips.
