Scourge Boom Season 1

Ballet Class

Scourge signed Melissa up for ballet lesson.

Melissa had never been to ballet class before one time she saw Knuckles dancing like a ballerina.

Melissa was giggling maybe that's reason she wanted to join ballet to learn how to dance like a ballerina.

The other young girls were part of it.

The ballet teacher came in and told everybody they will do audition for show called the happy swan.

Melissa was very excited.

They went to the concert hall.

"Do you think I can do it." Melissa asked.

"Just try your best practice makes perfect." said Scourge.

The students were doing an audition.

A man named James he was tall and serious.

James told the ballet dancer to do the demonstrate the steps of The Happy Swan.

Everybody watched.

She was really good.

Melissa was a bit scared.

Scourge did give some courage to Melissa.

Throughout the audition the girls did just fine except perhaps for Melissa.

She wobbled.

"Enough young lady."

James began to make his selection.

He picked the dancers one by one.

"Please pick Melissa." Scourge begged.

"I do not think this one will do no no entirely too small."

He chose each girl along the line except one girl Melissa.

She had a tear rolled down from her eye.

Scourge saw her walking sadly to the bench.

Scourge whispered into James' ear.

"Her legs are too short she's entirely too small and she wobbled."

Then Melissa got a second chance to audition for the happy swan.

"You will dance."

"Hooray!" Melissa cheered.

Next James showed everybody where they will rehearse.

The girls have passed their audition they did practice every day.

Hours have past Melissa practiced at home and outside.

She practiced at night.

Team Sonic watched her dancing.

Sonic smiled.

"You're going to be famous ballerina when you grow up."

"I know right." Melissa smiled.

"So your practicing for the happy swan." Amy asked.

"Yep."

"What's a swan?" Sticks asked.

"Swans are birds of the family Anatidae within the genus Cygnus. The swans' closest relatives include the geese and ducks. Swans are grouped with the closely related geese in the subfamily Anserinae where they form the tribe Cygnini. Sometimes, they are considered a distinct subfamily, Cygninae." Tails explained.

"Oh ok I get it now."

"Good."

Melissa was at the rehearsal.

Melissa put on her ballet outfit on.

She saw sparkling red ballet shoes.

She tried it on but they were too big for her feet.

During dancing something went wrong she bumped into girls like dominos.

Then she fell down and ripped the curtain down it fell on her.

The ballet master was horrified. 

She got up from the floor she took off her shoes.

"I really glad James but do not worry I will not dance in the ballet tomorrow or never again."

She threw her shoes and ran off the stage.

Team Sonic and Triple Threat looked at each other.

"Poor Melissa." said Amy.

"I know she tried so hard to be a ballerina.

Knuckles decided to look for her.

"I'll go to talk to her."

"Yeah you do that." said Steel.

Knuckles found her backstage she was crying.

Knuckles hated to see Melissa sad.

Knuckles give her a tissue to wipe her eyes and put his arm around her.

"Melissa I know how you feel."

"But Knuckles all I wanted James to noticed me and now I will never be prima ballerina like her."

"Don't you see Melissa you did your best like Scourge said practice makes perfect you can't give up."

Melissa started to feel better.

"Look I got ballet shoes just the right size for you."

Melissa's eye were bright.

"Wow thank you Knuckles."

Melissa hugged Knuckles.

The next day was the performance.

Everybody danced to the happy swan.

The audience loved it.

They clapped and cheered.

Melissa was very happy.

She got a rose from the dancer.

"Wow thank you very much."

"You're welcome.

That night Scourge asked Melissa if she wanted to ballerina someday.

She said yes.

They both smiled at each other.
