In the middle of the night Scourge was a sleep he was waken up by Melissa's screaming.
"Melissa!" he said.
He got out of his bed and ran into Melissa's room.
"Scourge help me please don't let Dr. Eggman kill me." Melissa said in her sleep.
"Melissa wake up snap out of it!" Scourge said shaking her awake.
She woke up with tears in her eyes and looked at Scourge.
"Scourge." she said.
"It's okay Melissa you were having a bad dream."
She told him about her dream.
"You poor baby." Scourge said.
"I didn't want to lose my family I love mommy and daddy Tommy and Pikanya."
Scourge picked her up and sat on the rocking chair As the green hedgehog petting her head and rocked the chair back and forth
"You're safe with me Melissa I will always love you no matter what."
Melissa hugged him very tightly.
Shhhhh shhhhh it's ok I'm right here."
Scourge was singing Lullaby For A Princess.

After the song Melissa cuddled near Scourge's chest and fell asleep.
Scourge kissed her on the head.
"I love you Melissa." he said very softly.
Scourge placed her back in her bed and gave her teddy bear to sleep with.
Scourge got his sleeping bag and pillow.
He lied down in his sleeping bag and went to sleep.
