Knuckles' Sidekick

Knuckles' sidekick has been unsuccessful for him so he had to find a sidekick.

Melissa saw him asked him what was wrong.

"Knuckles what's wrong?" she asked.

"Knuckles Jr. isn't working out." said Knuckles.

"I'm sorry to hear that want to be your sidekick."

Knuckles smiled.

"Really."

"Yeah I'm good sidekick just like Batman and Robin."

"Great."

The next day Melissa was hanging out with Knuckles.

"Want to do something fun."

"Yeah."

They were holding a can of whipped cream.

"Okay, on the count of three. Three, two, one, go!"

{Sprays whipped cream into their mouths}

"This whip cream is so good."

"I know right."

"Hey have you tried blowing balloons with helium tank." Melissa asked.

"Uh no I haven't."

"Let's try it."

They went into Tails workshop they found helium tank.

"All right let's do this."

They starting blowing balloons with helium.

"Hey do you know what will happen if you breath into helium."

"What?"

"Your voice will sound like a chipmunk."

Knuckles started laughing.

"That's funny."

They both breathed into balloon helium.

"Hey Knuckles do I sound like a chipmunk." Melissa said in a chipmunk voice.

"Yeah." Knuckles said in a chipmunk voice.

Just then Tails showed up.

"Uh what are you doing in my workshop?"

"Hey Tails buddy we're just having fun." Knuckles said in a chipmunk voice.

"Knuckles what happened to your voice."

"I was breathing into balloon helium and my voice sound like this."

Melissa laughed.

"Melissa you can get into mischief sometimes."

"I know."

Next they did was lifting weights.

But Melissa couldn't lift it.

"Knuckles it's too heavy I can't lift it."

"Here let me help."

"1 2 3."

"All right I did it."

"Very good."

"I want to try that one."

She pointed to the barbell.

"Melissa it's really heavy you can really get hurt and you're too little to it."

"I can do it I'm strong enough."

Knuckles couldn't say no to her.

But he saw Perci he had a chat with her.

Melissa tried to lift the barbell it was really heavy.

"Come on almost there."

She did it.

"Yes." she cheered.

"Hey Knuckles I did it."

Knuckles didn't answer he was busy talking to Perci.

"Knuckles." she said again.

"Hang on sweetie."

After Knuckles had a chat with Perci.

Melissa couldn't hold it any longer.

She dropped barbell on her foot.

She screamed in pain it scared the birds away.

Melissa ended up in a cast.

"Melissa I'm so sorry I should have pay attention and helped you."

"It's okay." Melissa said sadly.

"I tried so hard to be sidekick."

"You took care of me when my parents are gone."

That evening they looked at the stars.

"We had a good day."

"Yeah except the part I broke my foot."

"I know it's all over now I give you ice cream as an apology." said Knuckles.

"Do you know what I want to be when I grow up."

"What?"

"I want to be a famous artist and makeup artist."

"That's sounds like a great idea making beautiful pictures."

"Yeah did you see me putting graffiti at the place where Charlie works."

"I know I saw that it was really funny."

"Remember that time you threw Charlie's sandwich in the lake."

"Yeah some dope threw in a lake."

"That dope was you."

"Oh right."

They had a nice time looking at the stars.

It was getting late Knuckles took Melissa home for the night.

Melissa fell asleep in Knuckles arms on the way home.

Scourge thanked Knuckles for hanging out with Melissa.
