At Daycare Melissa was playing by herself in the playroom.
Until he meets Knuckles' half-brother Mace the echidna.
He was 4 years old he loves his stepbrother Knuckles.
He saw Melissa playing by herself he walked over to Melissa and asked her if he would like to play with her.
"Who are you?" Melissa asked.
"I'm Mace you can call me Kneecaps."
"My name is Melissa Sparkle."
Kneecaps and Melissa both shake hands.
"So want to play cars with me." Kneecaps asked.
"Sure." said Melissa.
They both played toy cars together.
"So how old are you Melissa?"
"I'm two years old."
"How old are you?"
"I'm four years old."
"Did you know Knuckles looked after me when my family went out."
"He did that's cool."
"He's fun and he makes me laugh."
"Yeah he's funny sometimes."
Kneecaps and Melissa were getting along they were playing and sharing together.
Kneecaps told Melissa some jokes.
Melissa was laughing she finds his jokes very funny.
They sat together at lunch.
Then they played on the computer.
They listen to stories.
They tidy up the room.
They slept at naptime.
Melissa and Kneecaps became friends.
By the end of the day Knuckles and Scourge came to pick them up.
Melissa asked Kneecaps if he would to hang out with her.
He said yes.
They waved goodbye to each other and went home.
