Melissa was in the kitchen trying to make a milkshake in the kitchen but she made a big mess she forgot to put the lid on.
She wonders what would happen if all of the great scientists and explorers had to do whatever their parents told them.
She then gives two examples: Galileo (who discovered one more moon of Jupiter) and Sir Isaac Newton (who discovered the law of gravity when an apple hit him on his head).
Scourge showed up and saw the mess.
"Nice try, Melissa. But I doubt Sir Isaac Newton ever tried to make a bacon-flavored shake with his father's good cooking equipment. Now let's get this cleaned up."
Melissa sighs in disappointment and cleaned up the mess she made.
That afternoon Melissa and her friends were at the beach building sand castles.
"Hey guys look what I found in the jungle." said Tony.
"What is it Tony?" his friends asked.
"It's an arrow head."
Tony showed it to his friends.
"Where did you found it Tony." Monica asked.
"When I was out digging then I found an arrow head it was buried there."
"Who buried it?" Kneecaps asked.
"No one Prehistoric tribes lived all over this area. Over time, rain and floods washed away the tools the tribes used." Tony explained.
Melissa wonders if it's a chipped rock.
She went to her garden she got a shovel.
Melissa's mom is heard, saying that she's not worried about ancient ruins it's the modern ones she doesn't want to see.
"But everybody else has been digging in their yard."
Kimberly sighed.
"I'll be careful really please."
"All right I have to some errands you can dig in the garage but no place else I don't want an excavation site for a yard."
"All right thanks Mommy."
As left the house Scourge showed up.
"What you are doing Melissa?"
"I'm digging for treasure."
"What kind of treasure?"
"Arrow heads and civilization and stuff."
Melissa found a root that looks kind of like a snake.
"I'll keep it just in case to scare Dr. Eggman with it."
Melissa found nothing in the hole.
"Melissa you know you're not suppose to dig in the yard."
"I know Scourge."
Her friends Monty Tony Pandora Jennifer Kneecaps and Monica Glamora told about things they found in their yards.
"What about you Melissa did find something in the yard."
"All I found is a treasure chest."
Everyone was excited.
"I wonder what's inside?"
Melissa opened the treasure chest.
It was gem stones.
"Ooh shiny." said Melissa.
"Well Melissa you dig up the whole backyard."
Melissa looked at the yard.
"Oh no did I do all of that."
"You're going to be in trouble."
Melissa took the treasure chest inside the house.
Triple Threat came to help clean up the mess.
They can put everything back where it was, and they all pitch in to do exactly that. When they are finished, everyone is revealed to have gotten a bit dirty from their work.
"Great work everyone." said Monty.
"The dirt is ruining my clothes." said Pandora.
Kimberly came home with some groceries she was shocked when she sees the garden.
Melissa told the truth she knows lying well only make things worst.
She admits that it was her fault.
"I guess I got carried away. I'm sorry, Mom."
Kimberly did look stern at her.
"After I specifically told you not to. I'm disappointed in you, Melissa very disappointed."
Melissa had to stand in the corner to think about what she had done.
"Well have you learn your lesson." Scourge asked.
"Yes."
"Can you promise not to dig in the yard again."
"I promise."
