One rainy night it has been raining since afternoon and then at night it rain again at night.

Scourge was trying to sleep but Melissa crying was keeping him up in the middle of the night.

Melissa didn't like to sleep during the thunderstorm she was not afraid of anything but lighting was scaring her.

Scourge groaned and got up he wasn't used to be waken up by a toddler crying in the middle of the night.

Scourge saw Melissa crying in her bed and picked her up and comfort her.

"Shh shh It's ok big brother is here it's all right I'm here."

Scourge sat on the rocking chair and rubbed her back gently.

"Scourge I don't like the thunder it's so loud."

"I know just calm down it's gonna be ok."

"The rain will be gone in the morning."

"Want to sleep with me."

Melissa nodded her head yes.

"Ok."

"First I'll sing you a lullaby then you sleep in my room."

"All right."

Scourge rocked her back and fourth and begin to sing.

Little child, be not afraid

The rain pounds harsh against the glass

Like an unwanted stranger

There is no danger

I am here tonight

Little child

Be not afraid

Though thunder explodes

And lightning flash

Illuminates your tearstained face

I am here tonight

And someday you'll know

That nature is so

This same rain that draws you near me

Falls on rivers and land

On forests and sand

Makes the beautiful world that you'll see

In the morning

Little child

Be not afraid

The storm clouds mask your beloved moon

And its candlelight beams

Still keep pleasant dreams

I am here tonight

Little child

Be not afraid

Though wind makes creatures of our trees

And their branches to hands

They're not real, understand

And I am here tonight

And someday you'll know

That nature is so

This same rain that draws you near me

Falls on rivers and land

On forest and sand

Makes the beautiful world that you see

In the morning

For you know, once even I

Was a little child

And I was afraid

But a gentle someone always came

To dry all my tears

Trade sweet sleep for fears

And to give a kiss goodnight

Well, now I am grown

And these years have shown

That rain's a part of how life goes

But it's dark and it's late

So I'll hold you and wait

'Til your frightened eyes do close

And I hope that you'll know

That nature is so

The same rain that draws you near me

Falls on rivers and land

And forests and sand

Makes the beautiful world that you see

In the morning

Everything's fine in the morning

The rain will be gone in the morning

But I'll still be here in the morning.

Melissa started to calm down and fell fast asleep.

Scourge kissed her on the head and carried her to his room.

Scourge carefully placed her on his bed.

Scourge rubbed her back and said "Goodnight Melissa."

Scourge layed down next to her Melissa held on to Scourge and then Scourge put his arm around Melissa to keep her safe.

Scourge went to sleep and the thunder didn't wake her up this time.

It looks Scourge and Melissa are both bonding together.
