"Bakit nga nagyaya ka? Gusto mo sigurong bumawi?" I asked after sipping on my red wine. I blinked dramatically to gives off a seductive look.

Nakasandal siya sa kan'yang upuan habang seryosong nakatitig sa akin. Ang isa niyang kamay ay nagpapahinga sa lamesa at ang mga daliri niya ay naglalaro sa ibabaw. Ngumisi siya.

"Do you have to know all the reasons behind my actions?" tanong niya. He's like a CEO with his posture and outfit. I want to be his secretary someday.

"Yes!"

I am always curious about him. I will always seek answers to everything about him. In everything he says and everything he does.

Gano'n naman kapag gusto mo ang isang tao, hindi ba?

"I just want to treat you."

I won't buy that. That could be one of the reasons, but I want to know the main objective of this dinner!

I chuckled. "I'd be satisfied if you'll answer in full honesty."

"Ano ba ang gusto mong marinig?" he asked, pulling himself from leaning. He then formed a temple out of his hands while seriously playing with my eyes.

I smiled. "That you want to date me romantically? Hindi lang dahil may nagawa kang kasalanan, but because you like me and are thirsty for moments with me."

I smirked and leaned on the table.

Pumapagitna sa amin ang mga utensils at mataas na candle lights. Two different wines are here also. Tapos na kaming mag dinner at nag-uusap na lang. I don't know what he's planning to do next, but I hope we'd kiss.

"You always know the answers but still always ask," aniya at mabagal na tumayo mula sa kanyang upuan. Sinubaybayan ko ang kanyang lakad papunta sa gilid ko. Huminto siya habang nakapamulsa ang isang kamay.

"What?" tanong ko, tuluyan nang nawaglit sa aking isipan ang tinatanong kanina.

Kinuha niya ang kamay ko patayo. "I'll give you something," aniya at binaba ang kamay namin sa aming magkabilaan at naglakad kami pabalik sa balkonahe.

My heart was racing. This gesture is sweet, so I feel like being swayed in heaven with classical music playing.

Tahimik kaming pumunta roon. Bumungad ulit sa akin ang city lights, but the lights were more emphasized now. The sky was darker than earlier, and the stars were brighter. I sighed and looked at him when he let go of my hand.

"I'll just get it. Stay here for a while," aniya at tinalikuran na ako.

He let go of my hand, and he left.

I watched the scenery alone. Malamig kaya hinahaplos ko ang magkabilaang balikat ko. I saw the lights turning off in some rooms from different buildings. Siguro ay matutulog na sila, o 'di kaya'y may gagawin...

My shoulders moved up when I felt a coat covered my bare shoulders. Hinarap ko si Zoren at sakto naman ang paglapat ng kanyang kamay sa ledge ng sinasandalan ko. He's cornering me and the coldness I was feeling earlier was lessened.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting," he said sincerely after a long silence.

I don't know why I sensed a different meaning from his words. It's like it has another meaning.

"I'm used to it," pabulong kong sabi at nginitian siya.

His face was close to me. Bumaba ang titig ko sa kanyang Adam's apple dahil malalim iyong gumalaw. I think he's nervous. Pero saan? Bakit? He's always the confident Zoren in front of me.
