"Uwaah, such cute little things!"

A squeel was heard by Cale and Choi Han as they were walking through, with brown packets full of chicken skewers in Cale's hands and an already half eaten skewer, and bags of other snacks in Choi Han's arms. Cale looked at the shop to see why the woman had made such a noise. And he immediately realised why.

'Hopping Sweets'
As the name suggested, the shop was actually a cafe, and it also seemed quite expensive. Of course, this was because of the 'hopping' portion of the name. "Rabbits?"

Choi Han stared at the simple yet relaxing cafe with interest before quickly turning his head to look at Cale. Cale avoided the sparkling black eyes and nibbled on the half eaten chicken skewer in his right hand. "I'm getting sweaty from the sun and all the walking anyways."

Choi Han smiled brightly at Cale who was walking towards the door. He promptly followed after when he saw Cale keeping the door opened for him, packets full of chicken skewers still in his hands. But when they walked into the cafe...

"Hm?!" Rabbits instantly swarmed Choi Han's feet as he walked from behind Cale, taking Choi Han by surprise. "M-my apologies, dear customers!" A young man ran to them while Cale stood still with his arms crossed, looking at Choi Han who didn't know what to do and was trying to not step on the rabbits.

Choi Han let out a sigh of relief as the rabbits began gathering around the young man, his hands feeding them small bits of carrots. He then turned around to see Cale staring at him strangely. "Is something the matter Ca-, Naru-nim?" Cale had to stop himself from rolling his eyes. I thought he was used to it already. He really is bad at lying.

"No, I'm just surprised that you have an affinity with something so gentle when-" When you yourself can't not draw blood wherever you go. Cale did not finish his sentence and only stared at Choi Han's scabbard, making him smile awkwardly.

"Ah!" They turned their heads toward the man who had rushed to them, and was now standing upright without any carrots. He was wearing a formal uniform fit for a servant, and his hair was neatly combed. His freckled face had a nervous expression, however.

"W-we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience!" The young man bowed deeply, his hands sweating bullets. I'm already anxious since this is my first day at this job, so why did the rabbits have to crowd around the customer? And the one with a sword at that!

The man, Mason, knew that it was not likely for him to be killed, but he had been through many jobs already. Cashier, bartender, baby sitter, you name it. He wouldn't be able to count how many times he had been threatened by armed people even if he was asked, which was why he thought this would be the one if those situations.

"Please raise your head, we don't mind it at all." But he was, thankfully, wrong. When his eyes met a pair of gentle black eyes and a kind smile, his face suddenly felt warm. He was confused, but quickly showed them to an empty table.

Once Choi Han and Cale were settled in their seats, which were opposite of one another, two menus were put in front of them. They heard a 'Please take your time' before looking at the menu.

Choi Han glanced at Cale who was sitting in relaxed manner on the white cushioned couch. His hand was petting a random black rabbit that was nestled next to his thigh. He stared at Cale's slender fingers, but had to quickly look back at the menu when his mind wandered to an unwarranted area.

"U-um, is there anything that caught your eyes in the menu, N-Naru-nim?" Choi Han was trying to sound relaxed and, once again, failed miserably. Cale kept his sigh in his mouth and responded. "It looks like their main dish is carrot cake, so I'll probably order a slice of that and some black tea. What about you?"

Cale had looked through the menu and, to be quite honest, there wasn't many interesting things in it. Other than the cute rabbits that overflowed in the cafe, everything else was very ordinary, with the overly priced coffees and desserts. He also really didn't need to order a dish as the bags of snacks and chicken skewers would suffice.

But he couldn't stop himself from ordering when he saw the glint of excitement in Choi Han's eyes as he looked through the menu. Maybe I can feed him again... His chubby cheeks are quite cute, after all.

As the corners of Cale's mouth rose up from the thought, Choi Han finally answered him. "I think I'll have the iced banana milk drink, topped off with the, mm, bunny foam?" Choi Han looked at the waiter who flinched slightly, but then wrote something onto his notepad. He repeated Cale's and Choi Han's orders, before walking back to the counter that had a display full of cute rabbit-related desserts and a reception area.

Choi Han passed the time by peeking at Cale who was still petting the black rabbit near him. He didn't realise that he had a smile on his face, but he became conscious of it when Cale turned and made eye contact with him. Choi Han directed his gaze towards the rabbits that surrounded the bags of snacks instead, his cheeks slowly becoming more pink. I've been caught quite often today, haven't I? A small smile appeared on Choi Han's face as he began petting the soft fur of the rabbits.
