Amy's POV

I can't believe how good Jason is with the kids, I haven't realized that he himself is a kid in many ways.
But it seems most men are, heck I never really want to act my age ether.
One time I walked into the kid's room and saw bedsheets hanging every where.
I was informed that no girls were allowed, so me and Jade built our own fort.
Then it was us against the boys!
We were throwing bean bags at each other, if you got hit you were dead for five minutes.
If you were hit three times then you were dead and couldn't rejoin the game.
Us girls won by the way, just thought I'd point that out.

Every night me and Jason would read a story to the kids.
Me doing the reading while Jason rocked the kids in the rocking chair.
Most nights however one or both of them would end up in bed with us.

I began to notice Jason getting fidgety when the weather started to heat up.
So it became clear that we needed to move.
Me and Jason got into an argument over it.

Jason you need to let go of this place, nothing but bad will come of it if we stay.
No! I'm not leaving my home!
Jason please if not for me, for the kid's sake.
I said no!
He slammed me against the wall, glaring down at me.
Please, do you really want to go back to your old ways?
That's what will happen if we stay.
He got an inch from my face, WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE AND THAT'S......
He didn't finish his rant because he heard the kids crying.
He dropped his arms back to his sides and looked at the floor.

Jason's POV

I knew she was right, I have in the past left camp blood, but never coming back?
I had Amy pinned and trapped to the wall.
I saw fear in her eyes as I glared at her.
I wasn't going to hurt her, I was just trying to prove a point.
I was so wrapped up in my outburst that I didn't know the kids were back.
I heard crying coming from not in front of me but from behind.
I turned to see two little ones crying their eyes out.
I stepped away from the wall and Ames and dropped my hands back down to my sides.
I never in my life felt guilty for my anger before.
Amy went over to the kids and told them that we just disagreed about something.
Jade asked if I hurt her and she said no.
I sighed with relief, why were you guys arguing?
Grown up stuff honey, was Amy's reply.
I told them that I needed to go for a walk.
What I was really going to do was go talk with mother.
