Junior's POV
I wasn't too interested in girls, I mean there were some cuties but I was too busy with keeping my grades up.
I graduated high school a year or so early with honors.
I then joined the army much to my parent's dismay.
Boot camp was tough but it was good for me too.
Jade was busy with Josh and she emailed me a picture of her prom.
My big sister was becoming a beautiful young woman.
I learned later that my sister went to college and Josh was able to get into the same school as well.
Later that year I was stationed overseas .
I was thankful dad gave me his machete as a farewell gift.
I started to have to limit my contact with my family back home.
But every chance I got I wrote to them.
