"Okay, I'm here! What do you want?" Charlie asked Parker as he slid into her passenger seat. She had sent the boy a text 15 minutes earlier saying she was on her way to his apartment to pick him up, but wouldn't tell him why.
"We're going to Target," the blonde smiled, starting her car and beginning the short drive.
"For?" Charlie chucked. "You and Sav went food shopping like 2 days ago."
"Christmas decorations, idiot!" Parker smiled widely, excited for her favorite holiday. "Sav wouldn't let me put up a single decoration until it was December."
"You're so cute when you're excited," he commented quietly, watching the girl drive with a huge smile.
"And you're a dork," she replied, not taking her eyes off the road. She knew if she so much as glanced at him her cheeks would start burning up. The pair soon arrived at Target, Parker grabbing a cart and practically running to the back where the Christmas decorations are.
"I swear you're a child," Charlie shook his head as she squealed over all the decorations she was picking out, filling up the cart.
"Sorry I love Christmas!" she nudged him with her should as she squeezed past him to look at the string lights they were planning on hanging up. "My apartment is gonna look amazing."
