(JOSEPHINE)
There ain't no gold in this river
That I've been washin' my hands in forever
I know there is hope in these waters
But I can't bring myself to swim
When I am drowning in this silence
Baby, let me in
Go easy on me, baby
I was still a child
Didn't get the chance to
Feel the world around me
I had no time to choose
What I chose to do
So go easy on me(Easy On Me, Adele)
Perth, March 2026
Ralph woke up in the hospital two days later after he collapsed in his hotel room in Geneva. Hero stayed by his side all the time until he woke up. You can't imagined how happy he was to see Hero. They remained in Geneva for a week and when Ralph was strong enough, they went back to London.
I received a call from Hero few minutes after I landed safely in Perth while waiting for my luggages. Lord I missed him so much it hurt. Listening to his voice was enough to make my tears flowing. I bit my lips stopping myself from sobbing. I didn't want him to worry about me being sappy here while he had a lot in mind to think about. His calm voice gave me strength to face mom and dad. He assured me Martha was fine and in good health. I told him I would be fine too. We didn't talk long but he said he missed me it hurt him like hell.
Same here, Hero. Same here.
