"Monkeys aren't allowed to sit there." Andrew remarked, as Angel placed her bag on the seat next to his. It was the only seat left in Legal Ethics class, and it just so happens to be with the most infuriating and childish.... iceblock in the planet. Angel cursed her luck, without Clara, Andrew would surely spend the rest of Ethics class finding juvenile ways to piss her off.

And he knew just the right buttons to push.

Angel as a person knows that she's patient. She endured Lucien Everett those years they were engaged. She endured Sophia Glowpeak sticking herself like gum to their friend group.

But somehow with Andrew, she just loses her cool.

So she decided to ignore him. She'd just imagine him as a small bird on her shoulder tweeting incessantly. He did keep quiet when their professor entered.

"Open your books to page 28." Their professor said in a drawled out monotone. Angel reached for her bag, only to notice that she didn't bring her book.

And then horror, when Andrew Skotadi took out his own book and he was smirking at her.

"What, you still don't have a book?" He whispered, eyes crinkling. Truthfully, Angel did have her book but she left it in her dorm. "If you ask nicely, we could share mine."

She sighed exasperatedly. No use being prideful here since Andrew is the only one she knows in this class. Why couldn't it have been Prince Amadeus that she shared this class with?

Why does she always have to bump into Andrew Annoying Skotadi? Where's the justice in that?

"Can we share?" She asked in a soft voice. She thought Andrew might tease her more, but then she ended up hearing a soft chuckle.

"Sure." Andrew a bit moved closer, as he slid his book between them. The other students who don't have books also seemed to be sharing with their desk mates.

The class went on like that, with Angel listening attentively to the Professor's lecture and jotting down notes on her notebook. Andrew seems to be a diligent student as well, taking notes. It kinda irked her that his handwriting is better looking than hers.

Andrew... probably isn't all that bad.

"Hey, I'm not yet done!"

"You seriously take that long to read?!"

"I'm digesting the information, excuse me. Turn it back."

Surprisingly, they didn't argue much and it quite surprised her that they could probably be in the same room as the other and not spill blood.

"- Y-Yeah, my next class is on that way." Andrew was so sure that was Angel Chapelle's voice, but only this time it was too sugary sweet and feminine. He noticed the scene before him, and the pair seemed oblivious of him who was trailing a few places behind them. Angel was shyly tucking a silver hair behind her ear, while giving Amadeus an upturned gaze. Amadeus in turn was kindly smiling at her.

It wouldn't take an idiot to guess that Angel Chapelle was absolutely smitten. She wasn't even trying to hide it. He'd seen ten year olds try better!

"Is that so?" Amadeus asked, with that same kind smile on his face. He seemed oblivious to Angel's palpable attraction it hurts to look at them. "I think we should go together, I'm going that way anyway."

The most absurd thing happened after. Angel-monkey blushed beet red!

"Andrew, hey Andrew." Clara poked him with the back of her pen. Her lips were curled into a scowl, as she glared holes at her chicken scratch notes. Apparently she was cramming and they had an assessment in her next class.

"Huh?" He looked back at her, quite confused momentarily, before realizing that before he saw Chapelle and Amadeus, he was accompanying Clara and Avarys. Thirdwheeling was specific word but that was just technicalities at this point.

"Are you alright Andrew?" Avarys asked, in obvious curiosity. It was disconcerting how much he resembles Amadeus. He was slapped in the face by the fact that they were twins and that's what twins are supposed to do. Look a lot like each other. But their personalities were like day and night, so it was usually easy to differentiate them.

"Hey, uhm. I forgot to return a book in the Library," He excused himself, looking above the crowd to see Angel and Amadeus taking the bridge to the library, which was opposite from where Avarys and Clara were headed. "I'm sorry I gotta go." He bid hastily, and with that, he immediately bolted, squeezing himself against the current of students.

Clara looked up from her notebook, blinking cluelessly. "What was that?"

"Maybe he just really needs to go to the Library." Avarys was smirking wistfully.

"Huh? But I went to the library yesterday with Andrew. I'm pretty sure he returned the book." She muttered suspiciously.

....

"Amadeus, bro," He hooked an arm over Amadeus' shoulders dragging him down a bit.

"Andrew." He greeted levelly, really, if Avarys was the one who was too cautious, Amadeus was the one who was too trusting. "Where are you off to?"

"The library." Angel visibly flinched when Andrew said Library.

"Skotadi." Angel muttered darkly while glaring at him, although it evaporated immediately the moment Amadeus turned to her.

"You two are acquainted?"

"I met him a few times since he's Clara's brother." Angel explained, choosing a safe answer but she was totally glaring at him as if he just intruded.

"And you know her Amadeus?" Andrew countered the question back.

"Angel is a friend of mine." He nodded, and Andrew had to hide his mocking grin the moment Amadeus said "friend". The word physically revolted Angel that her ivory pallor was turning purple. Andrew had to use all the self restraint he could muster to avoid blatantly laughing at her face.

"It's a small world huh," Andrew remarked as casually as he could, his smile quirking up as he looked at the queasy Angel Chapelle. "How you're friends with my best friend, Angel Chapelle."

The horrified look she sent him was so worth it.
