The Family

𝙿𝚊𝚛𝚝 𝟹𝟸 - 𝙲𝚛𝚢 𝚖𝚎 𝚊 𝚛𝚒𝚟𝚎𝚛

I run into the house, I hear Ace calling my name but I just ignore him, Harlow is screaming at Ace and Lacey is laughing. Once I'm in the house I kick off the heels and run upstairs.

I run into the bedroom and lock the door, I then walk into the nursery and lock the door connected to the hallway. I can't believe Ace this whole time he was sleeping with her.

I slide down the door in the nursery and begin to cry. I bury my head into my knees and hug them tightly. I feel like a part of me has been ripped out. Like I have floated out of my body, I feel that cold empty numbness I felt years ago.

I just continue to cry until I here a knock on the door. "Eiffel open the door" Ace says and I just ignore him. "Eiffel." He says again and I continue to ignore him. I know he has a key to the door but he will get the idea and sleep in another room tonight.

I stand from the door and sit down in the chair, I look around the nursery and sob. I am not sleeping in that bed, not where be slept I know I should hear him out but why would she lie.

I curl into a ball and let the emotions just wash over my body and I lay here. I can hear people faintly laughing from downstairs and it makes me cry even more.

"Eiffel you on there." I hear Harlow say on the other side of the door.

"Hey look you don't have to let me in but just know I'm here ok. And I've punched Ace in the face." Harlow says as I hear her sit against the door.

"Harlow." I say my say my voice comes out as a faint whisper.

"Yeah." She says.

"Is he out there." I ask, j want to let her in but I know if I open the door and he's there I just don't know what I will do.

"No he went down stairs." She says and I stand from the chair and unlock the door. I move back to the chair and she walks in the room locking it behind her.

"Why me. Why is it always me." I cry and she just strokes me hair.

"Baby I don't think he did. He worships the ground you walk on. She wants your man and she would do anything she can do get him. Hear him out doll and then cry if he did." Harlow says and I just sit and think for a minute.

After around an hour of me just crying and Harlow listening she stands from the seat and walks out the room, I leave the door unlocked and move to unlock the bedroom door as well.

I make my way towards the bathroom and just look in the mirror. The person staring back at me is not the Eiffel I have grown to recognise it's the Eiffel 4 years ago that lost her mom.

I place my hands on the counter and stare at myself in the mirror for what seems like a very long time. I turn around and sigh, I roll my head back and close my eyes.

I know Ace has entered the room, I just don't think I can look at him without crying. I know we need to talk but I don't want to know the truth.

I pluck up the courage and turn to face him and the look on his face when he seems me is enough to break my heart. He looks scared, almost devastated.

"Eiffel I promise you I have not touch another women since you. Why would I Eiffel you have to believe me." Ace says, he steps closer to me and i back away.

"Eiffel. You know I love you why would I." He says and I look down. "Look at me." He says and I can't.

He walks towards me and I don't move, I stay frozen in place as he approaches me. I don't look up at him but what he does next confuses me.

He gets down in his knees in front off me and I feel like crying. He hugs my legs and I move my hand into his head.

"Eiffel I love you with everything I have I promise I would never cheat on you."Ace says. I pull away from him and kneel down in front of him. I look him in the eye and a single tear escapes. I lean forward and kiss his tear away.
