The Family

𝙿𝚊𝚛𝚝 𝟻𝟻 - 𝙵𝚘𝚌𝚞𝚜

It's now January and we are starting to plan the wedding. I am so excited to get married but I think Ace is more excited about the honey moon. Harlow is now 5 months pregnant and she is the most hormonal I have ever seen me and Ace seem to stay clear of her in her bad days.

I am sat in Aces office at the warehouse while he is on the phone. He shouts into the phone and then hangs up, he lets out a massive sigh and I stand up and walk over to him. I always seek to calm him down so I try my best.

I walk behind him and place my hands on his shoulders and connect them at the front. "You alright." I say and he takes my hands and leads me to stand in front of him.

"Yeah babe I'm going to have to go into a meeting, you coming." He says as he stands. I nod and follow him out the room. We are holding hands and as my heels hit the floor everyone turns their attention to me and Ace.

As we walk through the warehouse men nod there head at Ace in a sign of respect and I just walk along side him. We walk into a room which is not what I expected, I thought it would be like a conference room but it's a large room filled with members of Aces mafia.

Ace walks to the front and I follow him, I stand off to the side with Kate while he talks in Italian to everyone. While Ace is talking everyone sit and listen to him, most avoiding his eyes but some brave enough to look.

All of a sudden a women begins to talk and I don't understand her but I know she isn't agreeing with Ace. The tone of her voice is violent and harsh.

She turns her attention to me and starts spitting Italian in my direction and I just look at Ace and he has the most angry expression on his face. Kate pulls me behind her and Alessandro and Leonardo make there way over to us.

I look at them confused and then head a gun shot and I snap my head in that direction. I look at Ace who is tucking his gun back into his belt behind him and I hear a thud. Ace continues to talk in Italian and then i hear my name.

I look up at him but he isn't talking to me he's talking about me. I then to Kate and quietly ask he what just happened.

"Don't worry about it." She says and turns her attention back to Ace.

Ace continues talking for another 20 minutes and everyone seems to be oblivious to the dead body on the floor. Ace stops talking and everyone nods and makes there way out the room.

Ace walks over the me and I look up at him and he looks angry. He laces his fingers through with mine and leads me away from his siblings. "Ace are you ok." I say and he ignores me.

He pulls me into his office and slams the door shut. I remove my hand from his and walk over to the couches. I sit down and Ace lets out a sigh.

"Ace what just happened." I say and he walks over to me and squats down in front of me.

"Nothing baby you ok." He says and I nod my head. He runs his hands up and down my legs and he seems to calm slightly. I wrap my arms around his neck and leans down and kiss him.

"Was she talking about me." I say and he nods rolling his head. "What did she say."

"Nothing to worry that beautiful little head of yours. I took care of it." He says and i nods. I kiss him gently on the lips and he stands up and walks towards his office.

A few minutes go by and Aces family walk in followed by his parents. Aces mother sits down next to me and pulls me into a hug.

"Son. She's made you stronger not weaker, she wanted to get into your head and doubt your leader skills." Massimo says. I look at Anna and she just pulls me into another hug.
