Family Reunion

The 8 friends were still at the Ice cream shop.

Jinora: "I better get back to school" she sighed "we already missed first class and half of second"

Wu: "lame"

Jinora: "try having your father be the headmaster"

Opal: "I should go back too, I don't want my aunt catching me in the streets"

Jinora: "Come on Wu, you need to come with us"

Wu: "yea no, I'm going where bestie goes" he looked at Asami

Asami: "wow I went from 'future wife' to 'bestie' " she crossed her arms "pack your shit we're going back to school"

Wu: "what?!" his jaw dropped

Opal: "that 3 against 1 sorry Wu" she chuckled "what about you guys" she asked the family of 4 who looked at Korra for a answer

Korra: "well what would you be more comfortable with Kai?" she asked

Kai: "oh umm I kinda wanted to go back with Jinora"

Bolin: "you know if we go back the chances running into the lady is big, right?" he raised a brow

Mako: "yea and the janitor has an eye out for Korra since she fucked up the main bathroom door" he chuckled

Kai: "actually, I wanted to try and ....talk to her" he chuckled nervously rubbing the back of his neck

Korra: "what?!" she looked at the boy "you're kidding, right?"

Mako: "even thinking about her you panic, and you want to be in the same room as her"

Jinora: "especially after what she did to you"

Kai: "I know I know" he sighed "but I feel like it can help me"

Asami: "I don't think it's a bad idea" Korra looked at be confused

Opal: "same, you should do it"

Korra: "this has to be a joke, I don't want her anywhere near you"

Wu: "Korra people can change" he pointed out.

Kai: "Korra please" he put his puppy eyes on

Korra: "fine" she rolled her eyes as she gave in the the request "but I'm going with you" she said sternly pointing at the boy

Kai: "like I was going to give you a choice" he crossed his arms

Everyone made their way back to the school. Kai went with Korra to talk over what will happen

Kai: "I just want to know where we stand"

Korra: "I understand, you just want to move passed it if you can"

Kai: "yeah"

Korra: "don't worry, you'll be fine" she glanced at him to give him a warm smile then back at the road

Kai: "i'm scared" he sighed

Korra: "and that's okay, you can't be brave without having fear" she took a turn into the parking lot of the school "without fear you become more reckless and face more consequences, but if you are scared, that fear you have will protect you, you become more aware and you keep your guard up" she started parking

Kai: "are you ever scared?"

Korra: "Of course, all the time" she put the car in park and looked at the boy "I'm scared of losing you guys, and because of the fear of losing you I'll protect you and me protecting you is what makes me look brave but in reality i'm scared to shit" she chuckled making the boy smile
